So far 1.5yrs Continuous run
We keep out furnace fan on continuous run to help moderate our multilevel houses temp. And keep high use rooms from getting stuffy. Our old motor wore out after 5 plus years of our continuous use, who knows how old it was when we bought the home (furnance is probably 20 plus years old) could have been the original motor...At any rate this motor is on 1.5 yrs continuous run and recently to save some money on the electric bill I switched back to intermittent. So in total I have about 2 years use on this motor. It still runs like new. However, that said I would expect it to last atleast 10ys minimum. so while it's good it's still working... It needs to go *atleast* 8 more years for me to keep this a 5 star.

You need a blower, this is what you need.
This is a fairly standard size blower motor, and while I only needed a two-speed motor, apparently they aren't made any more - so a 3-speed it was. It arrived 2 days early ... A good thing when the a.c. is out! The motor looks to be well-made, it was in a Grainger box inside the shipping box, and it hooked up with no problems. There is a wiring diagram on the motor, and it is reversible though the diagram didn't show that.I'm running it at medium speed and low speed for cooling and heating respectively.Make sure you pick up a capacitor; it uses a 370 volt 7.5 mF run capacitor (around $6-7) and it is not included. And even if you have a cap already in the system, it's a pretty good idea to change it out at the same time - they can decay over time.Pros- works like a champ, quiet, lower power draw than the motor it replaced.Cons- maybe it could have included the required capacitor?

Works Great !!!
I had an old Carrier Air Conditioner with a model # 321P141 Westinghouse Blower Motor(1/3 H.P., 1050 R.P.M., 3 speed , 5.5AMP, 60 HZ, 115 Volts, 40 Degree Centigrade Thermally Protected). The Blower Motor and Capacitor both burned out and I called several Air Conditioner Repairmen. All of them wanted to replace the whole A/C with a new unit, costing in the range of $9000 to $12000, claiming that the A/C unit is old and they can not find the right parts. I did a lot of research on the internet and could not find the exact Westinghouse model #321P141 Motor, either. I bought the above A.O Smith/Century DL 1036 for less than $100.00 and bought a new 7.5 microfarad Capacitor for about $5.00 and replaced the Blower Motor and Capacitor in my old A/C unit with the above new parts. The A/C unit is working like a champ now for more than 1.5 months !!! I am Very Happy with the above motor. Do not let the A/C repairmen rip you off. YouTube has a lot of good videos showing how to replace your burned out A/C Blower Motors and Capacitors. Watch them and buy the right blower motor - like the one I bought above - and save yourselves several thousands of dollars.***** Review Update on November 14, 2021 ***** : I installed the above motor in my A/C in April 2021 and it is still running great. These days the weather in Southern California is acting very crazy (Hot during the days, and Cold during the nights) the above blower motor works really well providing me with cool air during the day and hot air during the night. I just wanted to emphasize that people who buy the above motor to make sure that they change the Capacitor and Air Filter in their system during the Blower Motor installtion process with appropriate parts, as well, in order to have an A/C which not only lasts them for a long time, but also, to provide clean smelling air throughout the house all the time. (Note : Some Air Filters can be washed and you do not have to buy a new one each time. Just wash them or use a vacuum cleaner to remove dirt from them. But clean them often, because one of the major reasons that Blower Motors burn out is due to dirt accumulating over them .)****** Review Update : March 1, 2023 ******It is almost 2 years and the above Motor is still working well. No problem

Good furnace fan motor replacement
I ordered this to replace the motor in my furnace which was still working but getting kind of old. This motor was an exact replacement for the one that I had so was a straight forward job to install. I did also replace the starting condenser as this seems to make sense with a new motor. The weather turned cold the day after I got it installed and the furnace has been running daily since then. The motor runs very quietly contrary to someones review and hopefully it holds up well. I do update reviews if situations change over time.

Seems like a winner
Arrived in three days and was packed well. The wiring diagram on the sticker is clear. Shaft spins like butter. Wires are plenty long. Starts and runs smoothly and, most importantly, is reasonably quiet. Given the low price, I suspected I wouldn't have a long-term relationship with this motor, but it looks/feels like a product that can go the distance. Time will tell. The only complaint is that most of the wire ends were bare and no connectors were provided. Luckily I had some on hand and was able to crimp them on in a jiffy. Not sure if this is standard for all motors of this ilk. The capacitor wires had them and the CW/CCW wires had them and were pre-connected to CW.

BEWARE Nameplate data does not match
The capacitor called for on the box that the motor came in calls for a 5 micro farad cap (bottom left of 1st photo). However, the capacitor called out for on the motor's nameplate is a 7.5 micro farad unit (also bottom left of 2nd photo)Which one is correct?

Read one line diagram and tags on the wires
Before installing I looked at all tags on new motor and compared with old. The old motor had 5 wires new had only 4. Since this unit is heat only it worked fine. One Line diagram showed two wires on new motor parked anyway. Great they had made it easy to change rotation. 1 picture shows diagram on motor leads for changing rotation.
