Second dispenser working well so far
I attached three photos. Original faucets and new main after remodel (1); upgraded faucets w brushed brass insinkerator hot water dispenser (2), final fix with working insinkerator French gold hot water dispenser that works and doesn't drip.Since my kitchen upgrade in 2018 I kept my old original insinkerator hot water, tank, dispenser and a cold water dispenser. Both are hooked up to water filtration while the main faucet is not. Water heater tanks tend to last just up to 10 years before they fail, I'm at the tail end of my second one which is still installed. New faucet but I really wanted a brushed gold it just wasn't as available then as they are now.First picture (1) is how things looked after the remodel. Very nice but I wanted brushed gold fixtures and accents in my kitchen. In December I ordered the same Kohler faucet in brushed gold along with a Kraus water faucet. Also ordered a new dispenser but in brushed bronze. Took picture (2) after all were installed by a plumber. If you are trying to decide between the brushed bronze and French gold, the brushed bronze didn't look exactly like the photo advertised. It has much darker "brush marks" than you can see in the photo. I would have kept it as is but as others reported the faucet failed 5 minutes after install. It dripped and had a failed air valve. Took it back and decided to order another in the French gold to see if it would better match. Was not available through retail outlets so ordered on Amazon.First, it is installed and it works, no drips and from picture three (3) I think it looks better with the brushed gold faucets. French gold is a shiny gold versus the brushed brass. The outer parts of the faucet are metal so in time I will add acetone to take off the shiny top coat and work from there to better match the color. I'm in no rush. I love the look overall and am happy everything works and looks like I originally envisioned.

French Gold or Brushed Bronze?
See photo for some guidance in case you're torn between brushed bronze and french gold to match your faucets!I bought a faucet set from Kraus, which don't sell a hot water dispenser so was worried about color matching. While french gold isn't "brushed", it's a far closer match than the "brushed" bronze.

Product as received was defective and Out of Warranty with manufacturer
Purchased this dispenser to replace our old one which was leaking (constant dripping out of faucet into sink). Installed the new faucet and within a week it started leaking a constant stream, worse than the original. Contacted InSinkerator as the unit comes with a 5 year warranty, and provided the serial number. Based on that serial number I was told that the faucet was 6 years old and out of warranty. I provided my purchase receipt from Amazon (twice) and InSinkerator agreed to replace the unit based on my purchase date. 1. This process took nearly a week and the new unit won't arrive for another week. 2. No I never contacted the reseller, only in hindsight did that seem like the thing to do.HERE IS THE THING: Other than the serial number there is no way for the customer to know when the unit was manufactured. This Amazon reseller appears to have purchased a lot of very old product and is selling them to unaware customers. Then the original manufacturer had to step up and fix the problem, NOT this reseller. Finally how is it that a brand new several hundred dollar unit like this can be faulty right out of the box? This is a clear failure of manufacturer quality control.Caveat Emptor: let the buyer beware!

Nice faucet for RO
We had a plumber install this faucet for our Reverse Osmosis filter. It works well, the instant hot is very hot and is great for instant tea or coffee. The cold water has decent pressure and works well too. Overall I like the look and functionality of it. It works well for us!

Simple install
Needed to replace the original one I had and this open box item was unused and in mint condition. The swap only took about 25 minutes.

Was a beautiful faucet
this is a beautiful faucet. I had to return- no problems there- but it was only because of the size and the sink. Didn't have anything to do with the quality or the faucet! So, I would recommend any day!! Just make sure you measure the distances between the holes in your sink. :)

Replacement for the previous one I had
I had this exact model previously, and it gave out at 5 years and 1 month (has a 5 year warranty). Anyway, I bought this one to replace it. It installed easily, and I really didn't have any problems getting it to work. This model has no threaded tubing - Instead, it uses a metal brace that connects to the bottom of the unit underneath the cabinet, and it attaches to the dispenser with a nut. It is the only model that works with our granite counter tops, and the others with threaded plastic won't fit through the hole in the counter. I believe the first review that mentions the threaded plastic might be for an older model, or a different one entirely, but I've had this for 5 years previously and it was the same design both times.I recommend this product if you have granite countertops like ours (deep, with a narrow hole). Otherwise, go with one of the cheaper models that come with both the dispenser and the tank, as it is a better value. It will not last forever (the handle broke on our previous one, wouldn't turn off the water), but I don't think any dispenser will, as they all seem to have a shelf life of 3-5 years. I'm sure they could build them to last, but simply don't, so know that you will need to replace these in the future at some point.
