Installed on my daughter's 2006 YZ85 and started right up.Have about 12-15 hours of slow to medium speed trail riding including me (full size dad) getting it up a couple tough hills.Working well so far. Thanks Niche!

Who knows!
I did a complete rebuild of my grandsons YZ85! I used only the case and head…..every other part was new. The hour meter showed 4.5 when the engine lost power and eventually found its way back to me for inspection. Now there are a million things that can cause the failure I seen, but it wasn’t obvious which one it was. We used a very high quality oil so that shouldn’t have been the issue. The ratio was 30-1 so that was correct. The piston ring was stuck at the exhaust port position. After inspection it was hard to determine what came first, but the cylinder chrome looked like it could have peeled at the port web, and was the cause of the issue. We replaced the cylinder and piston and its back in business. I will not buy these cylinders any more. All it takes is one issue like we experienced and the trust is gone. These are priced in a way that makes them appealing to those with limited funds but for us, it didn’t pay off.

This Rebuild kit lasted 30 MINUTES
I’ve put a lot of Hour on the Factory Top End, Then I put straight gas in on accident and fired the top end, so I bought this top end rebuild kit and I did it all to the books! Put a compression tester on it before starting and 10 kicks w/ throttle open it had 100 psi on first 10 kicks! Soo I installed the spark plug in and kicked it 100 times before it started and it ran maybe 20-30 mins and was fried

Great quality
This worked on my 2004 yz85 and lasted around 50hrs of very harsh riding, and 2 strokes are supposed to be rebuilt every 25hr so this was perfect, will definitely buy again, and highly recommended

Doesn't compare to OEM at all, but i got 4 hrs so far on this rebuild kit n it's running great!
