Derwent Precision Mechanical Pencil 0.7 mm with HB Leads and Erasers
I recently purchased the Derwent Precision Mechanical Pencil 0.7 mm with HB Leads and Erasers from the Amazon.in app, and it has been a great tool for both writing and drawing. This review is based on my personal experience, and I understand that it may vary from person to person. The pencil offers a fantastic writing and drawing experience, thanks to its precise 0.7 mm lead size. The HB leads provide a perfect balance between darkness and smoothness, making it ideal for various tasks, from note-taking to detailed sketches. The pencil’s build quality is impressive, with a sturdy construction that feels comfortable in the hand. However, I encountered a small problem while using this pencil. On a few occasions, the lead got stuck in the middle of the pencil, causing some frustration. I tried different pencils, thinking it could be a one-off issue, but unfortunately, it happened with multiple units. This occasional lead jamming can be quite bothersome, disrupting the workflow. It would be great if Derwent could address this issue in future versions of the pencil.Despite this minor setback, I still recommend the Derwent Precision Mechanical Pencil 0.7 mm. The overall experience it offers is excellent, and the stuck lead problem, while a nuisance, doesn’t overshadow the pencil’s quality and performance. If you’re willing to overlook the occasional lead jamming, this pencil is a worthwhile investment for any writing or drawing enthusiast. Please note that this review is based on my personal experience, and your mileage may vary.

I have bought it for office use i.e. for note taking as well as for correcting notes. Feel premium in hand. A little expensive but ok. You can buy it without doubt.Adding to the review after good usage of 2 months in Office: The pencil is quite premium, good & easy to use, refills of other brands can be used. You can buy it without confusion.

Quality pen with very below par lead
The sturdiness and ergonomics of this pencil is superb. The only issues is the pencil lead that comes with it. It is hard and gives faint lines. It's a HB lead alright, but it could have been darker. I have bought other 0.7 mm lead produced by other company and used it on the pencil. It works like a charm.

Great pencil for everyday use.
I was searching for a pencil which enables me to write small, accurately and legibly for studying bookkeeping at college. I'm left handed. This pencil enables me to do that. I can write very small and still be able to decipher the numbers clearly. In my experience, the leads don't break and there is none of the faff of having to break concentration to sharpen pencils manually.Excellent and valuable tool. I'm extremely pleased with my purchase. I continue to use it lots!

Came with no instructions.
I draw and I used this pencil for drawing and I loved it. However, it didn't last the day. For some reason, the mechanism that retracts and pushes out the lead doesn't work. When you put the point to paper, it retracts back into the barrell. It's possible, I suppose, that there is a fix for this, but I haven't been able to figure it out. I did load it with 3 or 4 leads and the problem did occur after that (but not immediately, I think). I have taken it apart and put it back together. I tried to dump the leads back out the top, thinking that might help, but while they went in fine one at a time, they don't come back out that little hole. I am new to mechanical pencils and I found it remarkable that this came with no instructions, by the way. Not everybody know how to operate one of these. I had to watch a 16 minute video review to familiarize myself with this pencil and even that was more about advertising than actually using the thing. OK, I have to change this review from 1 star to at least 4 stars; I couldn't give it a 5 until I've used it a while. Turns out there was no lead in the barrel! I thought I had loaded it, but apparently I was confusing it with the Pentel pencil I already had. I like the Derwent lead better than the Pentel HiPolymer-- it is a bit more like charcoal than hard graphite so it makes a nicer line for drawing, in my opinion.

It does what it does
Nothing to really add. It just works how any mechanical pencil works, you take it out the packet, click the top so the pencil lead can come out and you just start drawing. Don't really know how someone could have a problem with that, unless they deliberately go out of their way to make their life hard. But anyway, good product.
