I have been looking for stationary that has some weight and texture to prevent the pen from sliding and affecting letter formation. This lined paper is just right for a lighter pen grip and improved legibility.

Recently started a correspondence with a political friend, using quill pens and ink and this paper, a la Thomas Jefferson/John Adams letters, and mailing them back and forth the old school way. Should be interesting reading when us 2 get old and did something like this in a technological world of texting, chatting, cell phone and email.

And I mean handwriting. Im still writing letters to distant loved ones and friends. This is perfect paper for the task. It has an antique look, not unlike its user, takes all types of ink well, and gives your writing an impressive appearance. I expect I'll be buying it over and over.

I am not pleased with this purchase. When this paper arrived, it was curled up on both ends! For what I paid for this, I certainly deserved a better product than this.

I want to de-digitize some of my life and go back to writing actual letters to some dear friends. I have a beautiful Cross rollerball pen that is a joy to write with, and I was looking for some high quality stationery to complete the experience. My pen writes buttery-smooth on most 120 gsm notebook paper, so I figured I would give this a try. However, it's not smooth at all. It basically feels like you're writing on a paper grocery sack, and it takes considerable effort to drag my rollerball across the page. This paper is going straight into the garbage, unless I can use it as packing filler.
