First off, the shipping was GREAT. It came in a wood create that I am able to store the roller in when not in use. I have used it 2x times now since I got it so it has already paid for itself. I pulled it behind my ZTR while mowing the grass. It seems to have worked really well as my over seed and top dress of the lawn have already started growing.I added water to mine to help weigh it down so it rolled and aerated at the time time. The size of the unit weighed down was easy to pull and move by hand when it is empty. It has 2 grease point to help make sure the drum rolls free while in use too.This was a solid investment that I am glad to own!!

LOVE the free shipping. This is a heavy item! Simple to fill with water and pull behind my John Deere. Really did a splendid job, dug in deep without uprooting the lawn and tracked well. My lawn is full of thatch and thick. Also purchased the thatching device from Lowes for $239 to do next. Be sure to flag any irrigation heads so you dont run over them. I went over and over some areas that were really bad and it did a great job. I have about 1/2 acre to take care of so this was a terrific product.

First day of use the cheap bolts snapped making it unusable without modification. I would not recommend it, should be half the cost. I expected more.

More than exceeded my expectations . When it arrived, I shook. I thought it was delivered from the mine fields of Iraq. I built a roll in plywood box to encase it as it is a dangerous and intimidating piece of equipment. Definitely not made for playing pets or wild kids to be around. Fall on this, and it's definitely lights out.I initially got it to literally tear up about a half acre of dirt to prepare for new lawn seed, which it did without hesitation. I have about an acre of lawn and aerated the remainder of the lawn before applying spring fertilizer. I intend to use it at least 4 time a year whenever the calendar says it's time to fertilize.The spikes definitely say hello and puncture well below the surface to really open up the lawn. Tight corners, slow down as it will tend to pull up some of the grass. I couldn't be happier. A great bang for the buck.

I like the item, it does it work better that the spike with the tube, the best way to use it, while you ride behind your riding mower, make sure you always turn the wheels to any direction you want, don't ride it strait forward, it is not good for strait lane, but it is good for turn lane, turn your wheel all the way and keep ride it, it does a hell out of the grass land. I enjoy it, my lawn is a lot better than previously I used the aerator that I rent from Lowes.

Extremely happy with this purchase, Assembly took 30 minutes to assemble and have ready to go. Used item on 1 acre yard and the results are outstanding. Ground was pretty dry and the spikes had no problem penetrating the soil. Very well made, highly recommend.
