Works fine.
I am tired of using the fizz drops, which are not fun to dispense into beer bottles. I followed other reviewers and experimented some on my own at adding 5 or 8 tablets/12 oz beer bottle. For my German blond, ciders, and Belgian tripel, 8 tablets seemed to carbonate well. For the Bavarian Hefe I found I only needed 5 tablets for carbonation since it tends to be overly carbonated to begin with. Even over time, the stickiness is still not as bad as fizz drops and they are easy to dispense into the bottles. I added a desiccant packet to help alleviate some of the stickiness too.

Great Product
For bottling home made beer, these conditioning tablets work out more consistently than adding priming sugar to the beer batch or bottles. Good value for the money.

Easy to use and they work.
I've bottled 3 Big IPA Beers coming in at 8-10% alcohol with these tablets. They do work and are easy to use, just drop 4 or 5 pills in each bottle and your set. I tried 3 pills and thats way to low carbonation, hardly any Psssttt when opening. 4 pills does a good job carbonating and 5 is a little excessively bubbly. I'm thinking 4.5 pills per bottle may be what I try next. Remember the bigger the beer the longer it takes to carbonate.

Great convenience item
Would I use these to package a full batch of homebrew? No. However, When I am kegging and just want to pull a few bottles off without taking the time to prime the entire batch, these are a huge time saver. I put 5 per 12 oz bottle and never had a problem after leaving them to secondarily ferment in the bottle at room temp for 3 weeks.

Don't always work
I've used about 3/4 of my bag so far in home brewing with mixed results. Most of what I make is hard cider in 16oz grolsh style bottles. Typically hard cider is only lightly carbonated so I've been using 4 tablets per 16oz bottle. In my last 2 batches I've had roughly half the bottles turn out properly carbonated, a quarter of them over carbonated, and a quarter with no carbonation at all. These batches are 5 gallons each and the improperly carbonated bottles seem to be random. Just to be clear these are new bottles with new airtight seals so I know the co2 isn't escaping through defective gaskets.By comparison I've done the original method of billing sugar water, cooling, then mixing with the batch and haven't had issues yet. The downside here is lack of convenience and the process is more time consuming.I ordered these tablets to expedite bottling day, but I don't think I'll be using them again unless I can get a more consistent result.

Shake it up
I like these a lot better than Coopers or any of the other priming products I've tried, because they don't get stuck together in the package. Also these are smaller so you have finer control over the carbonation level. They work well if you follow this procedure: the next morning after bottling, give each bottle a shake to mix up the dissolved tablets.I have used these on 4 batches of my Hefeweizen (a highly carbed beer) and I have gotten consistent results. I use 17 tablets per 1-liter bottle and they turn out nicely.

Might as well throw your money in the trash.
I was looking for effervescent tablets. These do not work. Put a lot of them in a little bit of juice and wait for a day. MAYBE you might get a hint of fizz. Don't waste your money on this.
