Nice fit, look and feel, bit of protection
I really like this cover, good quality and excellent fit. Nice that the tripod mount is perfectly useable. My first one had a problem seating the battery panel, but the replacement is perfect. Enhances grip slightly and gives a nice bit of protection. The strap is also very nice, prefer it to the oem strap. Recommended!

I Wish This Were Made for the Lumix DMC-FZ300!!!
I made the mistake of believing two reviews that said this would fit a Lumix model for which it is not made. I took the chance and tried to put this on my DMC-FZ300, but it would not quite fit. I do love this camera case and really wish Mega Gear would make it for my model. The leather is beautiful; I bought the light brown, and it reminds me of my dad's camera case from the fifties. So cool. It is sturdy and has plenty of access for quick shooting and battery/sd card changes on the fly. The price was so reasonable that I felt it was worth the risk to buy this, knowing that I would probably have to return it. It came very quickly and with free return. The return was super easy as well. Please, Mega Gear!! Make one for my camera!!! I would buy it in seconds, for sure.

Just what I needed
This is just what I needed. I bought this camera for use as my traveling camera, not wanting to drag along a camera bag with all the lenses. This should protect the camera very well on my travels. It seems sturdy and should provide protection against minor bumps and the weather. Easy access to the battery and memory card as well. Includes a matching strap of better quality than came with the camera.

Nice, but a tight fit.
A tight fit and only one snap button holds the front cover to the base when you open it up, so it’s likely to fall off.Hopefully the leather will stretch and ease up over time. It’s well thought out with an opening to get to the battery/memory compartment. The included and matching leather strap for the camera is nice, but quite difficult to attach. It took 20 minutes and a bit too much swearing.

This kit DOES include a strap.
I like the vintage look and function of this leather ever-ready case. I got the tan leather to accentuate that, and because worn and scuffed tan leather looks better than worn and scuffed black leather.Points to note: this kit does include a strap, albeit a thin leather one. I did not see a strap anywhere in the description so I ordered the Sierra Series strap and it is a nicer strap and I ended up using it. I probably would not have ordered it if I had known that the case came with a (thinner) leather strap. The case covers the kit lens but not the 16-55mm f2.8 zoom. It doesn't fit my Rokinon 12mm f2 but it does fit my Laowa 8mm and my vintage 50mm lenses (ie. Zeiss Planar 50mm f1.7) with adapter. It doesn't fit the Tamron SP 90mm f2.5.

Looks great feels like good quality
This fits my camera perfectly, it looks great. It feels like it will protect my camera from the dust and minor bumps while out hiking. Only thing I wish it did was have the ability to attach the larger portion of the cover to the camera strap while the camera is out of the case.

Survived Hiking in Alaska - Love it!
I love this camera case. L-O-V-E it! I just returned from trips to Alaska and Canada and it performed beautifully. I knew I was going to be hiking in rugged terrain and sightseeing in an elegant city and wanted a camera case that was appropriate for both environments without being bulky. This case was perfect and I received several compliments.I read conflicting reviews on whether you could use the camera with the case attached, and in my experience you absolutely can. I simply unsnapped the button on the bottom right of the camera, flipped the back panel and molded front forward, then spun the case on the still-snapped (bottom left) button in order to get the case out of the way for shots. Easy-peasy. Then I could quickly spin/refit/snap it when I continued my hike. There were a few occasions where I wasn't as concerned with the safety of the camera and I just left the case stashed in my shoulder bag, but the unsnapping method was quick and easy and not an aggravation; I just made sure I practiced several times before the trip so I got the mechanics of it down pat. The hard molded leather made the camera feel really secure.Highly recommend this case! I got the light brown color.
