Perfect for the Ring Pro 2
I was looking for a Bell Transformer to power the Ring Pro 2, I also wanted the internal mechanical chime to work. I did a bit of research and bought the below:* Ring Pro 2* PROTEK Bell Transformer 16V* Honeywell D117 Chime - supports up to 16VAC* Pro Power Kit v3 (specifically made for Ring Pro 2) - Part of the Spare Parts kitI then wired it all up and tested the AC current draw. It seems like the Ring Pro 2 uses around 3.5VA when operating in day light and around 4VA in the night with IR lights on, and it jumps to around 8VA-10VA when speaking extremely loudly on the 2 way talk and with the IR lights on. I know Ring Pro 2 requirements say 10VA-40VA but i believe that is for the U.S market where the mechanical doorbells require 10VA.Got it all in for a week now and is working perfectly, the power on the doorbell also shows 17V.

Transformer for mains wiring a nest doorbell to an electronic doorbell chime
Easily installed...by a professional hence the one star docked.Used it to hook up a Nest doorbell and it works fine. It did have to be mounted right next to the electric doorbell chime and although it looks ok, it’s not 100% aesthetically. Might still need to buy something to cover it up

Compatible with the Eufy wired doorbell in the UK
Purchased a Eufy wired doorbell for use in the UK October 2020. UK doorbells run at 12 volts , Eufy needs at least 16volts to operate all the functions satisfactorily . 12 volts will run some of the functions but you will get connectivity issues/drop out.Transformer fitted into my fuse board(Hager) I didn't realise that i had a hager doorbell transformer on the fuse board at 12volts! Originally intended to mount the transformer in the plastic surround that it came with, next to my original door chime box and spur off it into the chime box, then realised that all i had to do was swap out the 12 v hager transformer with the protek one(same width) and then bypass the original chime box. All works seamlessly now and the Eufy runs perfectly even just using the 16volts that i set it to rather than 24 volts. Slightly warm to the touch but no more than that. This is to be expected as all transformers produce heat. I am no electrician but can do DIY.

Not even close to advertised and marked, rated voltages. Avoid.
8V feed - reading 14.93V10V feed - reading 15.98V12V feed - reading 18.92VOr in other words a ±50% on the output. Also gets very hot.Absolute rubbish. Will raise with seller as it's past the three months.Either poor quality control or poor design, and either way, poor.Look elsewhere.

Voltage is as it should be.
Received this today and installed. Works well.Another reviewer said that the output voltage was higher than that stated on the transformer and knocked off a star because of that. The reason why it is higher is 'transformer regulation' which is or should be basic electrical engineering knowledge and a good reason why people without adequate training should not be tinkering with the mains supply.
