This is a great piece of kit. The only thing I will say up front is read the instructions. For the only reason that it tells you not to bring the two halves together. A combination of very strong magnets and strong velcro means if you do it is really hard to separate them!Top tip - keep them at least 30cm away from one another to stop them attracting and catching you unaware!In use - a plastic or metal blade tip for acrylic or glass tanks, enough flex in the blade head to stop you applying too much pressure and scratching the tank, clever use of velcro rather than hard sponge for the scouring block to give the tank a wipe regularly and a good quality box to keep it all in that will stand up to getting a bit damp.The magnetised cleaning block is a good idea so you don't have to completely reach into the tank and move it around from outside, but in practice if you have tank ornaments or things attached to the tank, you end up doing it from inside anyway. So is a bit of a novelty.However, that isn't an issue with the item, it is just the reality of cleaning an aquarium.I highly recommend this over a 'sponge on a stick' cleaner. Yes, you'll get your hand and arm more wet but 1) It won't break like the stick cleaners, 2) It is far more effective and quick and 3) The blade creates little slithers of algae and chances are your fish will thank you for a totally natural snack. My guppies actually swim along following it having a feeding frenzy. I have a tank by a window and no matter how clean I keep it, I get some green and brown algae on the sun side. But the scraper makes very short work of it and I actually allow some controlled build up now to feed that algae eaters in the tank knowing I can more carefully manage it with the scraper.No, it's probably not anything new design wise, but it is a good product and it deserves praise.

Such a delight to use!Lovely ergonomic handle which can be held nicely vertically and horizontally. Nice looks compared to others and actually matches the trim of my tank. Magnet is strong enough to clean thoroughly as well as allow me to 'park' it above the waterline magnetising through the trim and glass.Blade is easy to fit and remove. It scrapes hard to remove algae off beautifully. It has a nice clear view of the blade and angled in such a way that I was able to clean below the gravel line and easily see if any gravel was trapped between it and the glass; quick release of the outer handle and it floats beautifully and releases the gravel. Blade is designed so no damage to seals can be made if used correctly. Because of the blade length I was able to get into the edges of my internal filter housing with ease. Scrubber works well and is edge to edge so corners are cleaned well and looks like it won't compress. It may trap sand though as it's quite a fine weave. Outer cloth is soft but firm enough to remove any external dust or fingerprints. Comes in a beautiful box. . I hope they make/start making other colours to match co men tank colours. Fantastic item both functionally and aesthetically and great value for money.

The media could not be loaded. This is a very strong magnet, has a card inside warning not to directly put the magnet together, instead place the card in between. I accidentally did let the magnets touch and it was close to impossible to get them apart!The inside magnet floats if it disconnects. Comes with a plastic blade and metal blade. Cleaned my nano reef well, had some stubborn algae another new magnet failed to touch but this cleared it easily.The magnets came really nicely packaged and I really like the wood effect on the external magnet. The internal magnet is quite slimline so easy to clean around rock work .Have paid a fortune on magnetic cleaners in the past so I am very happy with this. It’s not cheap but it’s definitely not as expensive as many others that are not as good.

Very strong magnets I put together outside the tank and took some effort to pull apart ,woks well on the cleaning

I was looking for something strong enough for the thickness of my tank and this is perfect. I wasn't sure if it would be worth the cost but I was pleasantly surprised. I purchased the medium one but it's bigger than I thought and does a great job even on the bba growing on the front glass. The blades are easy to attach and change but so far I've only needed the plastic one.A* thanks!

Works well

I had this in my basket for a while due to the price. I had ended up buying a smaller cheaper one. This was on a deal on Black Friday week so I decided to get it. It is far superior to the cheaper one I had. The magnet is VERY strong and cleans the glass really well. It has an additional scrapper that you add, but don't have too if you don't want a scraper. It has a nice wood effect casing so doesn't stand out like the blue and white one I had. It's well worth the money.

This is the best magnetic cleaner iv have ever put my unworthy hands on.. its so powerful and cleans amazingly when I see it and use it I get on my knees and worship it.. I recommend it 10000%

Cleans glass very well

Stylish, super-strong, very effective. True premium product for the price. I got two of the smaller of the two sizes and they work flawlessly on a 10mm 120gallon glass and almost too strong for 6mm tempered glass. By far the best magnetic cleaner in my 20 years in the hobby. Go for it, you won't regret!

Excelente para limpiar y eliminar alga normal y coralina en mi acuario marino, sirve perfecto para cristal de 12 mm, su fuerza magnetica es muy buena lo que permite tener potencia al tallar y manipolar. El precio es excelente y no les pide nada a los que cuestan el triple o más. Llego empaquetado en caja personalizada. Me olvide de meter la mano a mi tanque.

Honestly it's like magic, it's not the prettiest but the magnet is strong and the scraper got really tough algae off. I've had a ton of scrapers but this is the best, expensive but worth the money.

I took this out of the box and am going to save the scraper ends for later when I need them most. I mainly purchased to save time during routine water changes by not having to scrub the glass with the buildup between changes. This allows me to swipe it across each end/face of the tank and keep the algae at bay. I tried testing how strong the magnet was out of the box by sticking them together. BAD IDEA. I had to pry them apart with a knife wedged between to get them apart! The velcro that scrapes the algae locks into the fabric on the other size and you can't twist it at all to get it apart. SOOoo don't test it out before putting it in like I did! Trust me they are super strong magnets and work just fine, so keep that in mind when joining them on each side of your tank. Great value/size for the money and I look forward to NOT having to scrub the glass each water change because I've been able to keep up with it without getting my hands wet!
