Beautiful crepes!
It was late in the season when I ordered these but, being in Florida, I figured they'd get a start before our growing season ended. I'm glad I took the gamble. These little plants have already taken hold and while they're not growing much (which I wouldn't expect in mid-November), they are obviously healthy and happy in spite of a rather serious current drought here. I am sure they'll hit the ground running next spring and I look forward to seeing some pretty purple blooms. Bonus: I've had my eye on these plants for awhile at the nursery website and was very pleased to see them available through Amazon Prime, so no shipping charge!!June 18 2017 UPDATE: The plants are still healthy and growing well but they are now blooming for the first time and they are definitely NOT dark purple, which is very disappointing. I would describe them as fuchsia or perhaps magenta but they are no where near the dark purple described in the listing and accompanying photo. I've attached photos of my plants taken within the past few weeks. One photo is of them just beginning to bloom and the other is of them in full bloom. You can see the color discrepancy clearly in these photos. To date four out of the six are blooming and every one of them is the same color. They are pretty but not what I had in mind when I ordered dark purple!

Tiny but thriving
For the cost the plants were tiny but healthy. I planted as instructed and they did grow some. They are maybe 12" tall now. All crapes are going dormant for the winter and I didn't purchase in time to get blooms this year. I sure hope they are big enough to keep through the winter and come back in late spring. I will try to cover if we get a freeze. Next trick will be keeping the deer away from them. I like that this company has the smaller sizes and the selection of colors. If these make it I will be purchasing more from them next year.Edit 2024 only 3 are still alive, I'm guessing their very small size makes them more delicate. All were in the same bed accoss the front of the house, western exposure.

Everything about plants and service excellent
Plants were delivered faster than promised. Very healthy AND there was an extra one! It’s getting dry and hot here (FL) so we got them in the ground right away, watered well. All are doing wonderfully. I’m really excited to see the blooms. I’ll come back with pics to review the color 🩷 Our neighbor had some of these I always coveted them, couldn’t find at any local retail nurseries. I was hesitant to order plants online. Would highly recommend these folks.

Healthy plants, good value, not quite as violet as pictured
I purchased a pack of 5 (i.e. 6) about 2.5 months ago. One of the six got a bit damaged in shipping resulting in about half of the tallest branch was severed. They were a little bit taller than I expected. So far, they are growing phenomenally well, including the damaged one, which is still around half the size of the others. This spring, I took some root cuttings from a couple of mature Natchez crapes that I have. When I received these miniatures, they were of comparable size to the Natchez cuttings, and these miniatures have grown every bit as fast (actually a bit faster) than the Natchez cuttings. They're probably around 3' tall now.The only complaint that I have is that the blooms are not quite as violet as pictured. They look fairly similar to Catawba, Twilight, and other purple crapes out there. That said, they may still darken with age. Overall though, well worth the purchase price.

Surprised!
I was so surprised when I received the box of crape myrtles. For one thing, the box was bigger than expected. When I opened the box, so were the plants. The plants were at least 2 feet tall with LEAVES on them. I expected stick from what a friend told me about ordering plants online. Anyway, I have them in the ground as instructed by the company and I'm hoping they will do great. It's hot here in Oklahoma but they like heat and sun.

Did not thrive in Zone 6
Purchased May 17th 2022. I was hoping this hybrid crepe myrtle would grow in northeastern Ohio. The plants never grew beyond what was sent in the box. Replaced them with St. John’s Wort in April 2023. The worts are off to a better than expected start.
