Good quality
Medium fit my 4 year olds head good but we had tried some helmets at a shop before and the small was way to tight! measure for size

Exactly as advertised
Seems to be good quality it fits just as indicated in description. This is the only helmet on Amazon that shows to fit kids heads down to 18.5" and it fits my daughter great no complaints. Although I can't report on durability, God willing, I will never have the ability to comment on it.

Looks good yet to test
So we got the helmet in and it looks really good my daughter is excited to wear it. My concern is the padding at the top towards the top rear feels very thin to me so I'm hoping this won't be a comfort issue on long rides.

Sizing chart is not accurate.
I bought this helmet for my child for in-door kart racing. It is a very nice helmet for the price. However, the sizing chart is off by about two sized. My wife, my child's race instructor, and me measured my child's head numerous times and we all came to the same number, 21 and 1/2 inches (see picture). The sizing chart clearly states that an XL helmet is recommended for 21 to 22 inches. The XL youth helmet we received was so big that my child could almost rotate it 360 degrees around their head. The next morning I contacted customer service and explained the issue but in the end had to pay for return shipping. I have purchased dozens of helmets using sizing charts and never had a helmet this far off. I hope the sizing chart is revisited and corrected in the near future so others will not have to be disappointed and be charged unnecessary return shipping fees.
