Miss Elaine Women's Short Tricot Nightgown, Flutter Sleeves and Premium Lightweight Fabric, Embroidered Neckline

I've worn Miss Elaine nightgowns for over 20 years. I've tried others but keep coming back to this style because I love the stretchy, smooth fabric that holds up to washing and drying without damage. The short length suits me best and the short sleeves don't bind. I can turn easily in bed without it twisting around me. I live in the mountains and sleep in a very cool room but the gown keeps me comfortable.The darker colors allow modesty and are very attractive. I'm happy to see so many new colors available.This gown is worth the higher price because it holds up to wear and laundry. I believe I still have (and wear) my original red one from 20 years ago!

This gown is very comfortable to wear. I really like that it is soft and kinda slippery. It allows me to rollover and not have to fight with my gown. The sleeves give you enough room to sleep with you arm up and the neck has elastic to let you move. Real quality. I purchased maroon and navy. Both colors are spot-on.

I wanted a lightweight nightie to help me roll under the new microfiber sheets I just got. This nightgown is perfect. It's super silky and lightweight. It's true to size, and the dark cherry color isn't see-through. One tip: I didn't like that the neckline was too high, but you can cut the few threads that attached the two neckline flaps to open it up a bit more. It made a big difference.

I was absolutely thrilled with the quality of this nightgown and the color. I’ve always been a fan of Miss Elaine gowns. I was going to order it in Small as that was what I’ve always worn. They recommended Medium size based on other women’s recommendations so I did. Glad I did as it fit just like my old small gown. This is definitely a winner.

I purchased this nightgown in "Sapphire" and it's even more beautiful in person. My mother has Alzheimer's and is at a stage that makes it very difficult to purchase gifts for her. I noticed she was in need of a new sleeping apparel and all my life she's only ever worn nightgowns. While it did look at many gowns of cotton, polyester, etc., none really seemed to be "extra special". This gown is simple elegance at it's finest, the fabric is smooth, comfortable and lightweight and the sapphire color is not see through. It reminds me of sophisticated yet modest glamour. I purchased this for her 82nd birthday and I could tell she actually, truly loved it. And she is actually wearing it as well. Often, gift items are set aside and never given a 2nd look. She can't help it, this disease has taken it's toll and she has lost interest in almost everything. It doesn't seem to register with her that she is in fact special and pretty. I believe this gown has helped bring some light back into her world!
