I thought I was getting nice, ready made boxes. Ok, not a big deal, I can put them together myself. But can I? I looked in the package. I looked online. No instructions to go from point A (flat cutout) to point B (nice little box). Imagine getting a flat piece of paper and a photo of an origami frog, and having to figure out how to make one from that. Yep, just like that.I finally managed to figure out how to build one, and the rest were pretty easy after that. Major points to remember are:1) fold the furthest edges opposite from the rest2) the only thing holding this together are the side tabs (pic 2) that need to slip into each other3) you'll need a little glue or tape, as the step 2 above will not hold the box together well enough4) You'll need inserts for individual candy. Mini-cupcake liners fit perfectly, otherwise your sweets will stick to the construction paper everything is made of5) You'll need ribbon or stickers to hold the wraparound cover together, and, if you wish to get fancy, some wax/deli paper to line the box with (long enough to overlap over the candy on top)After that, and with some ribbon and bows, the boxes looked pretty nice. Too bad that the blue wraparound cover is not the deep, colorful blue in the picture, but just the "blah", standard construction paper navy blue.If these construction paper cutouts were just a little more color saturated, had included instructions, or were more clear about the extra stuff you'll need, they'd have gotten another star. I have to admit, I like the sheer ingenuity of the design, and the individual candy inserts were nicely protective.

So. The matching blue thread and gold stamp in the photo? Not part of this.What you get is a plastic bag filled with paper things that you fold. No instructions.The results of folding the paper - it's not even heavy stock paper, and I don't think you can stack the results - are sloppy and weird looking. It's holding itself together with friction. It looks like a third grade project.The blue case? It's just a piece of folded paper. There isn't even a cutout tab to hold it together. Buy some glue.Or, don't. This is a bad product. Don't buy it

I wish I’d read the reviews before ordering, but they look so nice! Instructions, either with the product or on-line access would be helpful. It is not obvious how to piece them together. A very frustrating product and waste of money 😡

A lot to figure out and assemble. “Box” only stays together once tied.

THE. ABSOLUTE. WORST!!

I am a professional pastry chef, looking for boxes to start a business, bought the 6 and 12 cavity boxes. I like the look of these, much more than others. The boxes come without instructions, which is a bit annoying but not unexpected (you never get them in wholesale). What I found really annoying was that when folded correctly, the paper cups didn't fit correctly. I trimmed down all the inner edges, and that got everything back in line. The paper is pretty good quality, and they do look really nice when they are done. I would order again if I thought the cut out was going to be better, but I am not looking to spend all my time trimming boxes. To all the comments saying it doesn't come with the elastic and gold sticker: duh. Read the description. You get the box, that is all.

this is a terrible way to false advertise.. no instructions with the box.. the box does not easily fold into the product shown... big waste of money... how disappointing...

used for chocolates and sweets. Fiddly to put together with no instructions.
