Me and my boyfriend went on our first cruise Last month and we were pretty nervous taking them on so we only brought two. I made sure to fill them to the very top leaving barely any room. Make sure to do that because I have seen people saying they got caught because they saw the bubbles through the xray. We did this and we put hennessy in the wine bottle and in my backpack and they didn’t even check. We successfully brought the alcohol on! We ended up getting the drink package though because it made more sense and was a lot more fun that way. This idea is perfect if you want to just bring your own alcohol. I would recommend something like vodka or tequila. We didn’t want to drink what we brought which is dark rum because it would’ve got us sick faster and a worse hangover. Hope this helps!

Filled up with our favorite deverage. Placed in luggage and it went through cruise check in with no issues. The bottles did not leak, no plastic taste in beverage.

Simple: these are discreet, leak-proof, easy to fill, and are not a problem getting onto a cruise ship!We took these on our Disney cruise, and there were no questions asked. They even include a funnel to pour liquid into the bottles, and seals which worked well. They didn't leak in our luggage, either!I'd recommend for trips, vacations, cruises, etc.

I was quite skeptical about this product, but man did it work like a charm!!! Brought a Shampoo and Conditioner bottle in my luggage on a cruise and no issues noted. No bag check (and if there was, it wasn't identified), no leaking, etc. I'm not sure how it works, but I'm assuming there is an adhesive in the seal that is activated when it comes in contact with fluid. When I opened up the bottle after my luggage arrived in my room, the seal was completely in tact. My only 'compliant' is that I wish the bottles were bigger, but I think that would be more obvious. SO...just have to ask those traveling with you to also pack their own 'Shampoo' and 'Conditioner'. FYI...I did find out another cruise tip with bringing alcohol on board. Since cruises usually allow you 1-2 bottles of wine, use a white wine bottle with screw cap to fill with a clear fluid (vodka) and/or a red wine bottle for darker liquids like bourbon or rum. I brought 2 bottles of wine with me on my last cruise and they didn't even inspect the bottles. The cruise line I traveled with requires you to take the wine out of your luggage before you leave your luggage with the cruise staff (before they send it through the conveyor/scanner and then deliver to your room). I took my 2 wine bottles and put them in my carry on bag, went through the security checkpoint, carry on bag was scanned and no one bothered to check the wine for seals to be in-tact. The same person who told me about this said as a safety measure you can try to re-glue the metal seal/ring back to the cap if you wanted extra security. Anyway, these Shampoo and Conditioner bottles worked like a CHARM and I plan to use them again (they give you extra seals) in addition to the wine bottle method during our next cruise!
