I had a craniotomy about six years ago, and ever since then, my left ear has been very tender when I try to sleep on that side. I tried several pillows with ear holes, but they've either been too soft to provide actual support or have had multiple oddly-positioned ear holes.I'm so glad to have finally found this pillow! It provides great firm support (which I prefer) and the hole is not too small. The ear hole position is also excellent. It doesn't force me to put my head in a weird position just to use it. It's in the middle and not too close to the bottom or sides, which makes it easy to find with my ear when I'm rolling over or moving around at night.I also like that it dips down a bit on the lower corners, which just feels snuggly when I'm curling up to sleep.Best of all, I never wake up with a tender ear anymore! It's supportive and nice, and I can sleep without ear pain. Based on the reviews, it's clear that everyone's pillow needs aren't the same, but I've been so pleased with this pillow and encourage anyone who likes a supportive pillow and doesn't like sore ears to give it a try! I really love it.

Game changer. I was on medication to help with ear pain from being a side sleeper. A doctor recommended this CNH pillow and I have slept great with no meds since I got this. 100% worth it.

This pillow was needed to help my ear heal after minor surgery. It was a little too stiff, but still comfortable for the time I needed it. I just used a regular pillow case and wallowed out the area where the hole is.

This pillow thinks I have a very long neck. Distance from edge to ear hole is too far, so there's still pressure at bottom of my ear. There's also a seam where the main case connects to the material covering the hole, and that puts pressure at bottom of ear as well. It's ALMOST a really great pillow for my ear pain. I may try fixing those problems myself.

Fill was quite stiff but Zipper access allowed removal of some fill to make the pillow a soft as I wanted it ti be.

This pillow reminds me a good opera singer, but does it perform as well?I do not think description says, that the pillow is not returnable, if opened. But delivery pillow says that! You know, it's $50 bucks! Will update.Update: No it doesn't. If you know what the mirage in the desert is?! that it. The design tells the buyer, that this pillow is close to solve the pressure points, but as I have opened the package and tried, there is nothing else as the word mirage!I cannot recommend this pillow, because the design does not meet the performance, plus I am all over with foam odor.The description claims the sleeping performance, but I tried it, and found pillow too soft and not supportive. My head felt the hole, but it's still small for head pressure. I tried different positions and nothing helped. Despite, that, I might still get some money back, I will try to be fully refunded, because, is not right to trick a thirsty buyer for needed design without expectation. Does anybody agree?The seller appeared to be helpful with the issue. Thank you

Found it was easy to get your ear outside of the hole. When I did, the surrounding pillow was too hard and I would wake up with my ear hurting. I went out and bought and thick, soft pillow instead and so far it is doing a better job of not causing my ear to hurt. If you made a thicker, softer pillow with the hold it would probably work great. I am adding this to my original review. I subsequently bought a cervical pillow from Amazon (the brand was McKenzie) for a different purpose than my CNH issue. It turns out to be a great solution to the CNH problem. Use it along with a thicker, softer pillow. Buy it instead

I absolutely love my new pillow! It is incredibly comfortable and feels amazing on my ear. What sets this pillow apart is the ability to customize the amount of stuffing inside.
