Mine arrived a little dented on the sides but not enough to compromise its use. It is handy to be able to fill and empty - making using it and transporting between different clients gardens easy. It is heavy enough when filled with water to roll an overseeded lawn effectively. I’ve even used it to roll a wildflower meadow (quite hard work but the flowers are doing well!)The handle feels flimsy at first but mine has now done the busiest time of the season, in and out of a van between gardens and is still going strong.The scraper bar is difficult to set well but it does prevent too much build up of soil on the drum - it doesn’t keep it completely clean so expect to have to clean it off between uses.I would recommend this item.

This thing is great, filled it with sand and water and it did a fantastic job of the lawn. It did arrive with dent so packaging needs work but the bent made no diffence to the performance.

Filled mine with water, but should have probably opted for sand. Not a fan of clip together handles. Scraper feature I found to be woeful. I can't see it lasting any length of time.

Filled this with sand and it’s great wanted it to help level my very large garden and it did. Still going strong and had no problems at all. Well worth the money.

Such bulky and heavy item came in poor packaging. Was having damage on handle rods, and a dent on roller. Upon raising complaint, was offered return for refunds but a condition was to take it by myself to the return centre. Build quality is average. Not worth it. Is rotting in my garden corner. May let it taken away by scrap collector.

I chose this item as it appeared to come from a European supplier and would be of reasonable quality. However when i started to assemble the unit I had been over optimistic. The scraper bar is attached at each end with a 8mm threaded stud. The nuts supplied would not fit as the ends of the studs had been crudely cut off so the threads where deformed. having properly shaped the studs with a file the nuts would only go about one turn before they jammed as the threads where almost completely filled with paint. I had to borrow a 'dye' to recut the thread to remove the excess paint. If I had not done this the roller would have not been able to be assembled.. Don't be surprised to learn it's not actually made in Europe.

The product came in a week's time because it was dispatched from Germany, the product packaging was fine and delivered without any damage. The assembling is not too difficult but not easy if you don't have any experience doing these things as the guideline is not clear, it would be great if they had added step by step instructions so that anyone who is new to assembling things can do it. I have filled it with water and apparently there is no leak but i am going to fill it with sand as it is not heavy enough as i need to level some area in my garden. overall i am happy with this and would recommend it.
