Honing my skills again----good cheap fun
I was a pretty good shot as a youth and decided to hone my skills again. This slingshot is deceptively strong and with 1/4" and 5/16" steel balls hits harder than the three band per side slingshots I've tried. Right now I'm grouping half my shots within an eight inch circle at 55 feet away and half of those are within a four inch circle------not too bad. I've purchased a little cheaper slingshots that look similar to this one but they're not made as strong. I don't use a grip that utilizes the rubber sleeves so I slide them up to cover the unusually large gap where the bands slip on. I also have 3/8" rounds but about one out of five shots misfire (probably something I'm doing wrong) so I've stopped using them for now. Haven't yet tried the 1/2" shots. With the 1/4" and 5/16" some shots are going through three and once in a while four layers of amazon box cardboard at 55 feet.

Quality and fun
Just as pictured. Love the ammo and the sturdy slingshot. It is good quality.Wish it came with more ammo. We bought more off Amazon but it was a little difficult to find and a little expensive compared to the price of the slingshot. You will need 1.75 special pompoms . Regular craft pom poms are too lightOver all great product and son has a blast playing with it.

Tough, but small slingshot; without replaceable band.
For the price, this is a sturdy slingshot. The plastic body is very tough and seems as though it will last for many years. The handle allows for different styles of holding, but it's not really comfortable in any. I don't care for the arch in the handle and find it difficult to hold and uncomfortable after short use. It's mainly good for hammer style holding, and the design seems like it is made for smaller, youth hands. Oddly enough, my 11 y/o son finds it uncomfortable too and doesn't care for it.The main problem is, there does not seem to be a way to replace the band. The thin band is held in a slit on the top by what seems to be a rubber tube. It's really hard to see it by these pictures, so I included a couple. There are no instructions that came with it. As far as I can tell, you would need some special tubing to replace the band, if at all. You might be able to attach a new band on the outside by wrapping it with a thin rubber band. The fork does not seem like it is tall enough for this though.Wasn't expecting much from this low cost slingshot, but was hoping for more than it is. Really wanted to like it, but don't. At less than half the price of the Scout, for example, you get less than half the slingshot. Most boys would probably love it and definitely won't break it.

great slingshot!
I really like this style of frame, and the way these are banded.. If you don't know haw to change the bands on these, search you tube for "Bill Hays' fast, simple attachment method, TopSlots slingshot/catty no tie tool-less band attach." for a basic tutorial. The frame is solid, and is made from some sort of dense plastic.. the band slots are cut deep enough to be secure, without weakening the forks.. It's designed (and sized) to use a pinch grip, and is comfortable in my average sized hands.Bottom Line: If I lost this frame, I'd buy another.

There are better one's. This is good for a child to learn on.
I didn't give it a 5 star because I found the sling shot to be a bit small for a male adult. The wrist brace is very awkward to put on. There were not any instructions with the device, so it took me a few moments to figure out how to use it. The bars that go along your wrist are a bit narrow for a male adult. And the rubber strap at the end that is supposed to support your wrist comes off too easily. I also feel the leather strap for your ammo is also to small, but it is the correct size if you use the small pellet balls that came with it. I don't, I use paint balls, so it takes some adjustments,

It’s so easy to change band sets
This has got to be the easiest slingshot I own to change band sets.2 mins old bands off new bands on. It feels great in my hand. Forks are low to the hand no wrist strain. The grip is great, I even wet my hands to test it. I bought one for my grandkids So they’ll stop tearing up my expenses slingshots. To change bands, sit down put it between your knees fork side up stretch the bands to the sides and slip them out. The tubes that are in the slots I didn’t reuse, you just roll up the tips of the bands stretch them to the sides and slip it in the slot. If you need to see what I’m talking about go to YouTube and look up slot cut slingshots. The bands are going to brake that’s how bands are. I shot 79 times before I noticed a tear in the bands. I shot bbs,1/4” steelshot 1/2” steelshot, 50cal lead. The bands are the thinnest I have ever seen and very low power for anything above 1/4” steelshot. I put Thera-band gold home made bands back on 3/4” tapered to 1/2” now it slings 1/2” steelshot like any other slingshot I own. I like it, but until I get a fork strike and see how it takes it I’m not let the grandkids use it. I do plan to buy 3 more if it takes a fork strike for all my grandkids. I mean come on guys $10. And for god sakes watch some YouTube videos learn how to make your own band sets they brake all the time, learn how to change them. That’s part of using a slingshot. Hope this review helps. Have fun.

Prefect for kids
Perfect for my son who's 6. Can shoot these easily and loves the felt balls it comes with so none gets hurt. Great quality as well. Very sturdy.
