Oxford Single Guest Bed in Pure White - Trundle Bed Included

The cargo arrived on time. It was not difficult to assemble. And it is of higher quality than we expected. Our son's room is now both beautiful and functional. I recommend it to everyone.

Bought for second bedroom for over nighter's. Looks good ideal the trundle storing underneath main bed. The only down side is bed is a bit high (cannot be helped due to storage of trundle) and beds are slightly different in height but does as 2 singles

The colour and design was very good. I will recommend this product. However I will recommend a mattress no more than 7cm in thickness. This will make it easier to pull out

We ordered this trundle bed as many of the limited reviews (only 77) suggest it was value for money. There are some reviews which suggest the instructions are not entirely correct and that the pre drilled holes do not align with the headboard but we assumed these may be isolated incidents.The bed was delivered late which we understand can happen - but there was no courtesy call to advise this was the case and we waited an additional five days from the original delivery slot.The bed seemed ok quality and when my husband attempted to put it together - he found that the headboard and footboard did not align with the pre drilled holes in the legs. There were also missing caps for the screws (cosmetic rather than essential) so not the end of the world. The instructions also miss out parts of the bed that need to be put together.I contacted Mattress Guru directly and was advised to email customer service with photos to support our issues. The customer service agent feigned ignorance that they had never heard of any issues - but Amazon reviews suggest differently. He also advised that we would be fully supported and the company could send out new parts rather than than the whole bed needing to be sent back.I had a call from Mattress Guru a day later and was given the impression that they didn’t believe us and said they would get back to me. When I pushed further about what he needed to investigate, he said he wanted to open up a new box in the warehouse to check - this is absolutely ludicrous considering our bed was in our house and the box being checked was a new/unopened one.We did not receive a call back as promised, I had to chase. An email followed suggesting there was nothing wrong with the bed and they suggest we use the instructions more carefully to help us.We are in the process of sending further correspondence and will be contacting Amazon. Quite frankly, we understand there can be issues with some products but the customer service and response is absolutely appalling and insulting. This company are interested in taking your money but not responding in a supportive and timely manner. We will not be using them again, nor will we be recommending their company. More worrying, they have not responded to one review on Amazon, which would suggest they do not value feedback from customers.
