Solid replacement.

I recently lost my tablet pen and ordered this replacement. It was perfect! Same size as the original pen, didn’t need to be set up further so it was quick and easy to get back to work. Since they’re passive pens you don’t have to worry about battery life either. The nibs are good, I’ve gone through two of them in 6 months and I’ve got a heavy hand. I like that it comes with replacement nibs as well. Great value for money if you’re missing your pen and need a new one as it’s often cheaper here than on the company’s website.

Story time:I got tired of using the default pen that came with the Star 05, which is (I believe) the PN03. The triangle design is nice, but it slips after using it for some time, and my sweaty hands definitely don't help.I looked around for a replacement pen that would still work with my tablet, and even contacted customer support to see if there was an alternative. Customer support said no, only the PN03 works with the tablet. I didn't really believe that, seeing that there were reviews for other pens that worked with tablets it was not designed for, the fact that replacement nibs worked in multiple pens, and all of them having the same specs (8000-whatever levels of pressure sensitivity, the same LPI, etc.). I decided the risk was worth it if it meant I could get a better pen, so I tried out this stylus which has a rubber grip on it.Simply put, it's just a vastly superior pen overall - the tip is more stable and has a better response with the tablet and driver, buttons are better, the balance is just as good, and it still fits in the pen holder the old one came with.I'm not really sure why XP-PEN has decided to tell us that specific pens work only on specific tablets when they're clearly cross-compatible. Probably some marketing scheme. Either way, I'm happy with the new pen. Good stuff. Works great.If you're looking for a replacement pen for your (XP-PEN) tablet, I would suggest looking at what pens use the same nib as your current pen. I understand that not all of the pens XP-PEN makes will be compatible with all their tablets, but if the nib is the same, the presence or lack of a battery the same, and all the other specs are the same, chances are, the insides are the same as well.

Idk if they updated how it feels since i got my tablet with the pen that came in the box like 4 years ago but hot dang does this feel great!!! Very smooth, the rubber doesn't slip, the buttons work better (with one or two minor glitches from breaking it in but managed to fix by reseting computer) basically just a for when i my og pen got broken great product, could ship a lil faster tho

Does what it's supposed to do.

I've been using an xp-pen tablet for drawing and painting for several years and finally after 6 or 7 years my stylus started to wear out. The new one is very smooth to draw with and just as good or better than the original I got with my tablet. Putting new nibs once in a while is a good idea also. Very good product and the shipping was fast.

I bought this pen to try as a replacement for the one that came with my veikk viola tablet. It works better than the original, which had an issue with one of the buttons registering properly. The XP-PEN worked perfectly, straight out of the box. The soft-touch grip makes it feel very nice and makes it more comfortable to grip for long periods of time. This was a cheap upgrade to a cheap tablet and with the two of them together, I'm very happy with them for my purposes.

I use this pen when I have misplaced the pen the tablet came with as I often do. It is an exact replacement for the original pen.
