I had one of the previous versions without a stitched edge. The edges looked like waves. This was after many years to be fair. SteelSeries make great mats and my old one would outlast me.This one, if I take good care of it, should least at least 10 years. It feels good to use, I don't have to worry about waves and the stitching part isn't noticeable when I'm resting my arm on my desk.Excellent product

This mousepad is very large and has a square shape - make sure it can fit on your desk. I mostly play CSGO and I've really enjoyed this mousepad, I was looking for a rather large surface area as I play on a low sensitivty (800/1) and needed the extra space.The biggest issue is that the mousepad is VERY thin and sometimes slips a bit if you drag your arm across it. When I upgrade I'll go for the QcK Heavy. I also have a minor issue with the logo in the bottom left - I feel like I can't bring my mouse down there as the sticker looks like it'll start to fray off easily.Overall a solid mousepad for the price, but maybe consider upgrading for the thicker version.

This is the most expensive mouse mat I've ever bought. I've been using cheap, small mouse mats for years with limited durability and really glad I've finally bought a decent one!I've been using this daily for just over 4 months for both work and for game play. I went for the large size which gives me plenty of space during game play. Its beautifully smooth to use both for mouse movement and on my hand - I noticed one reviewer commenting that the surface is rough like sandpaper - this certainly has not been my experience. I'm currently using it with a Logitech mouse and get really accurate mouse movement.Its placed on a wooden desk - I get no movement of the mat whilst in use, although the desk isn't highly polished.The stitched edging looks pristine still.Overall, really glad I invested in this - I suspect it will last me a long time.

So, I read loads of reviews of various mouse mats before purchasing this one. I used to simply use my Desk as my mouse mat, due to having a Gel Pad. As a gamer the veneer on my Desk is degrading hence the need for a mouse mat.For me the Large Mouse Mat was perfect. I cannot stand mouse mats that are small and move or get in the way in anyway. I have my DPI and Response on my mouse at a super high level to avoid RSI.So, this mouse mat is excellent for my Logitech G900. It offers just a tiny bit of resistance, which is very similar to my desk anyway.The only slight downside is it picks up bits and pieces, crumbs, dust etc because it's black.I bought the Large Version so I could cover pretty much my gaming area.As a Gamer, it's purely down to individual taste and needs. It's perfect for me though. Enjoy

I've always preferred the use of plastic/hard surfaced mouse pads compared to cloth pads. I thought I'd buy this QcK pad to see if it warranted a switch.+ Well made. The stitching around the edges is great and certainly prevents fraying.+ The mouse glides well and feels precise (Logitech G400).+ Remains flat on the desk and does not move.+ Less wear on the mouse feet.On the whole, I still prefer to use a hard mouse pad. I feel it allows better control (very marginal though). They're also easier to clean with a surface wipe reducing down time.

I bought this as I've converted all of my PC peripherals over to Steelseries but was still rocking a corsair mouse mat. This mat is great quality, the surface is smooth but grips your mouse perfectly, cleans up easily and the edges aren't sharp like I have seen in the past with other mats. Brilliant product and highly recommended!
