Removes the guess work.
Worked the way it was supposed to. I used it to verify my conclusion on a percentage of thinning. Added confidence that I did it right. Easy Peasy!

No more guess work
This made it so easy. No more guess work to thinning latex paint for the correct paint flow for my Homeright Super Finish Max paint sprayer. I have used it with 3 different grades of latex paint and sealer/wood primer.

Good Cup that should have been included with Sprayer
Good viscosity cup with well written instructions. Have difficulty understanding why this small plastic item would cost $10.I purchased this viscosity cup along with the HomeRight Super Finish Max sprayer. Since utilizing the proper viscosity paint is critical to creating a smooth paint finish, why in the world wouldn't HomeRight include this cup with all of their sprayers (like they do with their less expensive sprayer)? A lot of the negative HomeRight sprayer reviews seem related to people trying to use paint that is too thick. Seems "penny wise and pound foolish" for them not to include a viscosity cup with all of their sprayers.

Definitely helps determine paint viscosity
This helped tremendously in determining paint viscosity for my Homeright paint sprayer. A bit pricey for a small piece of plastic but definitely a useful item if you plan to spray paint often.

Do a lot of paint at once
This cup works well, but its a "Hunt & Peck" method. Thin the paint, test, Thin, Test, Thin, Test. PITABUT it'll get you where you're going, and your final result will be worth the effort

If you need to know how your paints gonna flow before the gun this is it
Use this for single state paint jobs. Helps lay paint and fine tune your paint job.

Should come with the sprayer.
Over priced piece of plastic. They got us on this one. Mine is blue. I know we are paying for the cost of the mold to make the part. I made steel molds for 25 years. They are not cheap.
