Garland Rug Skulls Area Rug, 5-Feet by 7-Feet, Black

First of all, you can't beat the price on this, except maybe at IKEA. I needed an area rug to cover stains left on my carpet by my last roommate. This item matched both my decor and my personality perfectly, plus it's not going to show any future stains (unless it's paint, nail polish, or the like).The skulls barely show up, but vacuuming the rug helps them pop a bit. The rug is a nice thinner low-pile, but still nice on bare feet and helps insulate my floor in the winter from the freezing concrete garage below. Considering another for my kid's room to help with heat and to protect the cream colored carpet from further damage by their art projects.

It's working well enough for my son's room. It's a very inexpensive rug and it looks like it. It is very, very thin. That might be good or bad depending on your needs. I wanted something cheap and durable. It came with one defect. Toward the center of the rug was one small patch about the size of a dime where the black loops were missing/damaged and the underlayment was exposed. I colored it black with a sharpie and it's hard to notice it now.Of course, being black, every single piece of hair, lint, etc shows up like it's under a spotlight. Be prepared to vacuum often if that bothers you.

I purchased this rig a million years ago and I really liked it and the price was nice, but the backing on the rug is brittle and essentially turns to sand under the rug. Over the years, the sand under the rug essentially sand papered the wood floor, making it dull. I finally tossed it and ordered another, hoping that over the years, they would have upgraded the material they used on the backing, but nope; still just as bad, so I returned it and got something else from a different vendor. If they were to update the materials they used for the backing, I would buy again. I like the subtle skulls and the low-ish piling.

This looks like a plain black rug....nothing like the picture. You cannot see the skulls. Very disappointed.

I’ve had the 5x7 size rug for 4 years now and it’s held up great in our back entry way so it gets a lot of traffic. The skulls don’t super stand out but you can see them. Not a really high quality, it’s not fluffy or soft, but great for the price.

Same issue as mostly everyone else, you can't see the skulls. I've had mine less than a month and it's already coming apart. It's cool for decoration but not if your going to actually use it 👎👎👎

Love this rug! Was for my son but its too big for his room so now its in living room! We love it! It is badazz!
