Disappointed--not a true flower water
I bought two versions: elderflower and orange flower. The labels on the bottle say, "Elderflower {/Orange Flower] Water is a particularly fragrant distillation of elderflower [/orange] blossoms which is used sparingly to accent mixed drinks." Now you might think that is a description of the contents of the bottle, but it's not. It's true that elderflower and orange flower waters are distillations of those flowers--but these products are NOT.I was looking for elderflower and orange blossom (neroli) hydrosols and was having difficulty finding any from any of my usual trusted brands. I know hydrosols are used in cooking, and I guess bartending (steam distillation of botanicals = a hydrosol a.k.a. "floral water"; e.g., rosewater is a hydrosol made from roses), so I thought I'd give these a try. UNFORTUNATELY when I received them I looked at the ingredients to discover it is only water, preservatives, and "natural Elder Flower [/Orange Flower] flavor." Even more unfortunately, I had already opened the safety seals. (Chalk another one up to the ADHD tax, I guess.)If all you're looking for is a water-based flavoring agent, these might do the trick for you. As I never planned to ingest them, I didn't taste them, so can't speak to that. But if you seeking something that is actually botanically sourced, look elsewhere.

Excellent for Mixed Drinks
Very good for using in mixed drinks. It can be put into a spritzer and be a welcome addition to mixed drinks. A little expensive and solid by the bottle. However, a little goes a long way.
