Florida 10 Species Live Aquarium Plants Bundle

These plants were far nicer than I was expecting. Except for one grass type, they were all so perfect that everyone thinks they’re plastic. Transformed my tank and they seem to be thriving. The tall grass isn’t quite as perfect looking but after a few days even it is putting out new roots.

First shipment got lost/misplaced, not sure which. When it finally arrived most of the plants were in very poor condition. Contacted the seller, sent pictures, and they replaced the plants in a new shipment. I am very happy with the healthy replacement plants and they are thriving in my tank. I would highly recommend this purchase.

The media could not be loaded. A little more than a month later and at least one of each species is still growing. The Anubias is a little iffy but I think that’s on me with too much lighting, poor glueing, and low nutrients. A few of the stems died off but as long as I have a few of each I’m okay with that since they’re easy to propagate. The swords are doing great and the grassy plants are good as well. I received two of the longer grasses which almost died back all the way before their roots kicked in and now I’ve somehow ended up with three of them. The swords are doing great as well. I enjoyed this as a starter to get my tank set up and will probably add some more specific plants later. Two things I wish were better. One: I would have liked to receive a card identifying which species each of the plant are. Since this set is mostly for beginners most of us won’t know what these plants are and would like to research how to are for them. Google images reverse image search has helped. The other thing is I wish the plants had been rooted longer. Most of the plants had very small roots or none at all which I think limited some of the immediate success. I've got aquasoil beneath the sand as well as root tabs. Oase filter and led lighting. No CO2. Currently have 8 amanos, one snail, and 10 neons planning on a few medium sized fish eventually. Tank is 40 gal.

Listing is a little misleading. It says you get 10 different plants, 1 bunch of each plant. If I had know 1 “bunch” of a plant was just one, I wouldn’t have wasted my money. The listing also says 6”-12” but only a few of the plants for even 6”, and none of them were close to 12”. Some of the plants looked okay, and some looked salvageable but there were a few plants that I don’t think will make a come back. Will update my review if they do. I planned on buying the bigger 20 species pack they sell if I liked this one, but I believe I will look elsewhere.

So I waited to review this since I ordered them twice. The first time they never showed up so amazon refunded them. So I thought post office loses stuff. Ugh. So I waited a few months until holiday season was over and placed a new order to try again.I can’t say it went better. So normally when you order aquarium plants you expect to get something close to the picture that’s advertised. Now I’m not saying it has to be exact but close is best. This is not what I got. What I got was a clump of what I can only describe as moss and onion plants with a mess of death plants and brown black slime.I saw these pictures and I said. I love the colors how nice for my tanks (I have 6) and if they work out I’ll order more for the other tanks. It didn’t work. I can’t say I found any snails or shells but the black slime probably ate them if they were in there.I tried to save them and cleaned them with fresh water and the only thing that was alive was this moss stuff. Which is not pictured anywhere. Wtf!! Well the clump of moss stuff is a tangled mess it’s like trying to untangle a group of furry caterpillars tangled in an orgy. Needless to say I was not putting that junk anywhere near my tanks. So I have a clump or furry moss, 6 or so black brown dead leaves, a disgusting amount of slime. And a clip of an onion plant with no roots.I contacted amazon and let them know and they ended up refunding my whole order.On a positive note petsmart came through and had some purple plants for now so we will see. Hopefully I’ll find a seller that cares about aquatic life and their customers because unfortunately this seller does not.On a side note I pity Florida whose name is being ruined by scamming fish plant company. Not impressed guys. You could do so much better. People are suffering enough and a positive thing to look at like a colorful plant or happy fish can be the good thing in a world full of pain and sickness.I’m giving you one star but I’m only giving you one star because of Amazon’s money back guarantee which forces you to refund me.

Great plants, nice variety. Arrived in good condition.

Most of the plants came in decent shape considering that I live in hot hot hot Florida and it is the beginning of summer. I didn't receive all the plants pictured but I did receive a good variety. Only one plant type a short grass did not have any roots. I planted them in the substrate and gave everything root tabs to hopefully root. I bought the kit and also two small pots of bacopa one small pot of super red ludwigia and one ludwigia ovals. Everthing else pictured here came with this assortment and it is filling out my long 35 gallon tank nicely! Time will tell if they all make it and I will update in a month or so. Overall very happy so far.
