Fun Fighter - Bridges the Gap Until Smash Bros. Releases
This is a surprisingly deep fighter that plays a lot like Super Smash Bros. Melee. It definitely should bridge the gap for those looking to play something like Smash Bros. until Super Smash Bros. Ultimate drops in December. The character roster is pretty neat, it's also got the guy from Hyper Light Drifter and Juan from Guacamelee as guest fighters. One can only hope more Indie game fighters will be added in the future. For me, it was well worth the 23 bucks it costs with the Prime discount.

Excruciatingly long load times

Based on load times alone I have only played this game once and probably never will again. Yes, it's THAT bad.

Fix the loading!
One star up to 3The reason? They devs pushed an update that fixed Alot of the loading time... Still not perfect in fact far from it but hopefully a very short wait soon menu lag is real when one player picks then trys to change the game locks up they got rid of the broken gem system left coins in and now you level up players to unlock more.. Wish they were harder to unlock but not grundy hard. I'll try and get them all unlocked by tomorrow before they make it impossible again. Levels are just unlocked now... I would of like to earn them being unlocked but hopefully they add items like smash then it would be perfect lol.Like many others I can't rate past one star due to loading times.. It feels like it takes longer to load then it does to play a single game, then it has to load again to the menu then again to play.. I wanted it to play with my friends and they where over it on one game that's pretty sad and it needs to be fix for it to be worth buying... I'm also unable to get gems I've unlocked a bunch for challenges 10 here 10 there yet my count doesn't go up so I'm unable to get new players... That's even more frustrating! The game play once you learn how to fight does get fun and the more you play the better you get. I do feel the ai is a little over powered due to me playing on the easiest and getting my but handed to me. I also don't like how they just reskined the "new" character.. They offer nothing new so why add them? Doesn't make any since I would like them to be different and offer new stuff.I can't recommend this game at all till they fix the loading by 300% faster if not more and give the new characters different powers then what we already have. I bought this game in the shop for 10 bucks it's listed online for 23 on sale.. I wouldn't pay five or recommend it for any price because 45 minutes of game play is 3 five minute games.
