The most helpful tool I've ever gotten for my severe anxiety
Honestly one of the best books I've ever purchased. Very quick and to the point, no frills, which is SO important if you have anxiety, as it can be hard to immerse yourself in something for too long. Exercises are wonderful for self reflection, and perfect for preparing yourself for the right questions - either to yourself, your loved ones, or your therapist.This truly is a one-size fits all book for ALL anxiety, even the most severe (I have what's arguably the hardest one to deal with since there is no such thing as exposure therapy for it and you can never fully overcome it). It covers everything from social anxiety to phobias of death, from everyday stress to how to deal with loss.I carry this tiny book with me in my purse on days I might need to pause and gather myself. It offers no empty promises or reassurances like a lot of books do with "uplifting anecdotes" about people who aren't you - it keeps things logical and in perspective, which is what most anxiety sufferers truly need.

quick and easy read with lots of good points
Read the book in a couple hours, lots of good information. I won't say it is "life changing" or a "life saver" as have others, that being a bit over the top and may turn off some people who assume it is coming from hypsters or gullible sorts, but I thought there were several good points coming from a mental health professonal who is well-credentialed. Second book I have read in a week that refers to monkey chatter in the head and not allowing a bird that lands on your head to build a nest in your hair (The Power of Self-Coaching). Probably just a coincidence.

I’ve had anxiety all my life this book helped
I’ve had anxiety my whole life this book helped .I know it sounds silly but this little handbook taught me a few simple things that have help me control that anxiety better than I did before I read the little red book. To my suggestion is if you have anxiety why not give it a try and hurt

Easy to read and understand and the exercises are helpful
In this world that is full of stress this was a welcome sight for learning how to get through the small things that often time build into big things. Easy to read and understand and the exercises are helpful. Thumbs up,

Sensible Advice, Very Logical, Great
I was having some difficulty in choosing between this book and the original version of the book, which contains quotes and such for hard times. While I love quotes and an avid collector of ones I love and find helpful, the positive reviews this book has received aren't without basis. It's extremely helpful and insightful. I happen to have PTSD and use a multitude of different things to assist me with the anxiety I have as a result. If you work through this book and truly utilize the knowledge it has to provide, you will find a few more tools in your anxiety "toolbox".

Terrific little handbook for help with anxiety and stress
This little book has meant so much to me. It is a little "portable toolbox" of anxiety helps that really do work, and the format isso user-friendly and easy to understand and implement. Highly recommend to anyone who struggles with anxiety and worry.Thanks to the author for making such an effective handbook for a challenge that many people are wrestling with in theworld we live in today. Uplifting and Empowering, yet extremely practical and hands-on. I am very grateful for this book.

i love this book. i found it to be a great read and gave me helpful tools. its short and not overwhelming. i feel so strongly about this book that i’ve sent it to multiple people dealing w anxiety.
