The item came beautifully packaged! The simulated flower was a cute addition and I threw it in my pond for some color. Actual root bulb inside was well-protected and healthy. The Drop-N-Grow convenience was literally what it said: Dropped it in my pond (well placed atop a river rock so that it was only 6" below the water level), and after two weeks, two lily pads have hit the water surface with more to come! Mind you, this is with minimal direct sunlight (only about 2 hours or so), so I don't expect flowers until I can relocate the pond, but good enough for now! Pond is only a 35 gallon with a 14" depth, so will put it at the very bottom of the pond in a few months. You too can have a green thumb!

I ordered two plants to see how the process of starting lilies this way worked.They arrived in their packaging as described and I followed the directions on the package. After two weeks there was no discernible growth. After a month I removed the two plants and investigated the root bundle and could not see any signs of life.I’m not sure if these plants were the exception…but, I would not recommend them based on my experience.

I LOVED EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS WATER LILY. It was so healthy when it arrived and super easy to repot into one of my bigger floaters. Would definitely purchase again.

DOA, overpriced garbage in my pond that never grew and had to be fished out to throw away

This is my second time ordering a water lily from Chalily. I trusted my ducks too much with the first one I ordered last year and it unfortunately got eaten/destroyed while it was still new. I have since become wiser to duckproofing my pond plants so I came back to order another for the pond this year! Chalily has, by far, the healthiest water lily tubers I've seen. They always arrive healthy and in perfect condition. The really nice thing is the thoughtful and eco conscious packaging which doubles as a great way to get your lily started in the pond!

The plant showed up beautiful!! I was also sent a video link on how to drop and grow it. I was amazed at how big it was, lots of growth to the plant already!! Shipping was very quick..This company will be my go to every year for water Lilly. I live in Wisconsin so I doubt I can keep it alive through winter, But I will try and think of a way so next year I could add another color and plant. If not I will just have to buy a new one every year. Here's hoping I can manage to get it to bloom and flower!!Edit entire summer and never got a flower at all. I've had Lots of the lily pads but no blooms. I could have just went to a local lake for those. I wont buy another plant next year

I have had this lily for a month and a half and nothing has grown. I'll update this post if anything does grow. I was expecting it to have grown by now. (March)update! two months later and there are leaves sprouting! this is awesome! will update again when the flowers come.update #2: 6 months since having the lily in my pond and I now have a bloom! beautiful pink lily, plenty of lily leaves as well. Would buy from this seller again.

I ordered 2 and both showed up with multiple baby lily pads and after a day they've opened up and started to more and more beautiful, I will definitely buy again!
