Mental Disorders in Older Adults: Fundamentals of Assessment and Treatment Second Edition

After just briefly skimming this book, I am excited to start reading it. It appears to have excellent and practical information in working with older adults. I purchased it because it was referenced in the ASWB Guide to the Social Work Exams for review in preparing for licensure.

This is a great read, easy to follow, descriptive with easy to read tables and case examples. I am very pleased I chose this vs. another after obtaining many different sample textbooks over the course of a few weeks before I chose it

This book gives a great overview on the process of aging, as well as the diseases of aging.

A professional, pertinent and practical book that addresses an important subject about a very important population.

This was not a usual boring textbook, it gave real life situations and is more updated than most. Plus the price is nice.

Up to date and useful information for mental health and medical professionals working with the large and growing group of aging adults.
