Awesome these batteries last 2x as long as my 3.0 mah batteries. In a 1/2 drive makita impact breaking 3/4 inch nuts (1 1/8 socket) loose and then retighting at about 500 to 600 ft lbs of toque one battery will last me about 35 to 45 mins if Im really hard on them and thats almost constantly running it.So by the time one dies the other is charged. (3.0 mah only last max 20 mins). In the 1/4 makita drill driver I actually havent had either the 3 mah or 5 mah go dead within 2 hrs. LOVE the lights on the battery to check the charge left. The charger is okay no complaints it does what it says it does I just dont like the cheap feeling of it (like if i drop it or bump it on something it will break) but if you run 2 or more tools its worth the extra $. Also i like that i can charge my 3.0 with the 5.0s and only carry one charger.

I have 18v Makita batteries that are over decade old that are still running strong. The addition of the battery life meter is a nice feature as well. The run time and reliability has always been awesome. Purchased these to specifically run the cordless router and 4 1/2" grinder. Which they do very well. I have been very pleased with all of Makita's products.

Been using this charger and batteries in conjunction with the ones that came with my equipment and they are interchangeable, I cannot tell the difference. Great quality.

I’ve seen it less expensive elsewhere a few times now… wish I had looked around more first…But it does a good job.

J’utilise ces piles pour alimenter ma scie à chaîne Makita. Ça fait près de deux ans que je m’en sers. J’en ai six avec deux chargeurs doubles. Les piles m’offrent la puissance dont j’ai besoin présentement. Cependant, Makita promet une recharge en 45 minutes mais je peux témoigner que ça prend plutôt près de 60 minutes. Je suis néanmoins satisfait.
