This is a first-day review. I would usually wait, but I am so pleased with the easy setup that I am making an exception. I will update if there are down-the-road surprises. This package is nicely designed and clearly Avantree doesn't want you to fail due to lack of cables. Every angle is covered.Charging the headset isn't mentioned until later in the start-up instructions, but it seemed prudent to start with a charged headset so I charged it. As noted elsewhere, it comes with a charging cable, but you must provide some source of USB power to plug in to. Watching the short start-up video will inspire confidence, but it duplicates the printed instructions that come with the device. Everything these days claims to be easy, but this actually is!I have an older TV that had RCA audio output jacks and I discovered a never-used optical connector. The TV had no audio-output "settings" other than for speakers. I thought I would use the RCA connectors, as I was sure they wouldn't affect the TV speakers (some headphone jacks switch the speakers off when plugged in). I ended up using the optical cable as it seemed less likely to be vulnerable to electrical noise/interference. The optical connection worked perfectly, so that's where I am. I hoped that the TV volume control wouldn't affect the headphone volume, and it didn't.Set-up was a snap and went exactly according to simple instructions. It literally took no more than a couple of minutes (after charging the headphones).The sound is clean and clear. A little light on bass but fine. No signal strength issues across a large family room. It is a gift for my wife, but really for me. She likes to stay up late watching TV, and now it won't bother me.UPDATE: After 5 months of frequent use, one side of the headphones went dead. I contacted Avantree Support and they promptly sent replacement headphones which resolved the issue. Communications with Avantree and their response time was excellent.

My Aventree NB16 headphones and transmitter allow me to watch TV at night without bothering anyone else in our small home. It would also work well for someone with difficulty hearing who can adjust the sound, while others in the room can listen from the TV or soundbar. Finally, Aventree’s customer service is phenomenal. On two occasions I made changes and needed help reconnecting. Both times I was easily walked through the steps, and I was reconnected within a couple minutes.

These work well and my husband uses them to watch TV in the bedroom. We had the first pair for a couple years and a wire in the headset broke (probably from sleeping with them on) and we ordered a new set.

I live in an older duplex by the beach in Los Angeles that doesn't have great sound proofing. I use the Avantree headphones every time I watch TV which is generally 1-2 hours a day so as not to bother the tenants next to me.I haven't used other Bluetooth TV headphones, but I particularly like these because they don't cover the ear and make them hot and when I have the headphones in my ear, they are so comfortable that I don't really notice they are there. I also have Apple Airpods for my iPhone and I think they both are great in that you don't think about them being in your ears.The sound can't be turned up too loud, but they are definitely loud enough and the sound is very clear. It has gotten to the point where I rather prefer listening to the TV using them than with the volume on the TV on.My only frustration with the product is that I have had 2 headphones go out on me -- one stopped pairing with the receiver and on the second set of headphones one side stopped playing sound. Normally, this would have caused me to want to give the product a negative review. However, each time I contacted them (they prefer email), they have responded very quickly and within half a week sent me a complete new system, with me sending them back the non working system free of charge.When I purchased them, I figured there was a one year warranty, but I believe one of their customer support people told me there is a 2 year warranty. I hope with my latest pair, I won't have any need to contact customer service as I suspect they have lost money on me as a customer. Also, I have been inconvenienced with having to wait for a new system to arrive and having to send back the old system.I have given them 5 stars because I really love this product despite the two instances of them breaking down. And if they do break down, they do stand behind their product and their customer care is excellent and they take care of you right away.One last thing I would like to add is the battery life is great. I once paired my Airpods to their system and they lasted 3 hours and went out in the middle of a show I was watching. With the Avantree headphones I get a weeks worth of TV out of them before needing to recharge them. I would also add that the range is great. I have walked outside to take the trash out or get something from my car and they stay connected for quite a distance, but for me that is not a necessary feature.

This headset was easy to set up, only took 10 minutes. The sound quality is great, I have been using it to binge watch a TV series for 2 days. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a headset to watch TV.

These earbuds are light and comfortable to use. They have good sound quality and there is no lag with the tv. Had to contact customer support for a minor problem and in less than 24 hours was contacted by Avantree with the solution. I bought a second set for use with another tv.
