3.5 Years Going Strong
Absolutely love this thing. Sitting next to me now. I've used it nearly every single day since I got it, and it's not leaked once on me. The only time it "leaks" is when I forget to let the top drain out (just hold the trigger down for a second to keep the hole open after you take a sip).Pros:* Very easy to use. Easy one-handed operation was a must for me, and this delivers. Just gotta pull a trigger, no worrying about trying to flip up a nozzle with one hand.* Fits in cupholders. The slim body fits in every normal cupholder I've run across.* Does its job as a thermos well. I've had cold water sit in a flaming hot car for several hours (120-130 F inside), and although the outside of the thermos was too hot to hold, the water inside was still room temperature, if not cooler. Also keeps hot drinks hot basically for an entire work day at an office.* Really easy to fill back up. Most travel bottles and mugs are like this, but just figured I'd throw it in.* Sturdy. I've dropped it a handful of times, a couple of them on concrete. Some of the black paint has worn off, and there's some light chipping on the very hard plastic bottom, but it's still in great working shape.* Ergonomic. The loop on the back is INVALUABLE for holding this along with other things (such as my lunch cooler bag, bible, or whatever else I need to carry in and out of my car). I usually have this hanging on my pinky and all my other stuff in my hand so I can have my other hand free to use my house or car keys. It sounds like a little thing, but since I carry this thing everywhere it's a huge help to be able to not take up a hand to carry this.Cons:* Not a huge con, but it can be a little difficult to clean, due to the narrow inside. You'll need a bottle brush or something similar to clean the inside past rinsing it out. It's solid stainless steel inside though, so no corners or seams for stuff to catch in. Got a rounded bottom too, so not even a corner to accumulate grime. The top you'll need to make sure to pull the trigger to get to all the spots when cleaning.

I am a mugaholic
You could even call it a coffee mug fetish. It has been a long time since I last succumbed to my lust but when I saw this mug it broke my resistance and I had to have one.I have a large shelf in the pots and pans section of my kitchen cupboards filled with the evidence of my fetish but this mug will never find itself there unless something drastically changes.First the lid.In my opinion, this mug has the most functional and well thought out lid of any mug that I have used. Very simple mechanism. It drinks well. The thing that I like best is the fact that your drink doesn't pass through the mechanism on every sip. Nope. It just goes through the hole and into your mouth. Nor does the mechanism reside inside the mug being bathed in beverage. This also makes for easy cleaning. No hidden parts or dissembling into 5 different pieces to get it clean. It is all exposed after disengaging the valve. I don't feel the need to bleach it 3 times a week to make sure it is clean. If your favorite beverage is full of sugars, dairy, or other such marvelous items, this is huge! Some have stated that it doesn't open wide enough for gulping. I leave it beside my bed at night as a water glass and it keeps up with my water chugging so I don't know what they are getting on about. They may not be opening it fully or something. The loop is very handy when walking out to the car with hands full of lunch, technology must haves, etc.I have read complaints about there being a little liquid left in the lid after sipping. I have trained my self to keep the trigger depressed until the mug is returned to the upright position thereby allowing the backwash to drain into the mug. This has eliminated that problem for me.Then there is the shape. If there is such a thing as an elegant coffee mug this would be it. My only regret is that I bought the black one. I may soon be drawn back into my mug lust to purchase a more colorful version. Something less manly perhaps but maybe purple or green...And the last point.Does it keep it hot? Well, it isn't the best mug I have at keeping my weekend coffee or weekday green tea hot. BUT. The subtle flavor changes in coffee as it cools cannot be enjoyed if the last sip 5 hours into the mug is still hot enough to raise blisters on the roof of your mouth! If my coffee lasts 2 hours in this mug, it has cooled to the same temp as it would in about 15 minutes in a coffee cup. So. I have to give my nod to this mugs thermal qualities as well.My opinion may be swayed by the new love in my life. I hope it is lasting love and not just the latest romantic fling. Maybe that is why I have gone through so many, I just haven't found perfect love.I will be ordering at least one more for myself and may even buy a dozen or so for Christmas gifts to my slurping friends! :)

There is a complicated mechanism with small itty bitty parts that make this can super solid. The problem is cleaning
I've had this can for a year now. I work on film sets so I was looking for something that would NEVER spill EVER. This is the one. This can goes with me everywhere and offers me a little sip of coffee or whatever anywhere. It keeps heat and cold in very well and for a long time.First negative is the color (green in my case) was rubbed off completely within a few weeks. Then why did they even bother giving it different colors.Second negative, and much more important is the cap. There is a complicated mechanism with small itty bitty parts that make this can super solid. The problem is cleaning. There are certain areas that there is no access to them like behind the push button that allows you to take a sip or the drinking hole or even the air intake. If you are a milk coffee person, that creates a problem getting the residue milk out of those corners. Any of the cap parts that comes in contact with your beverage are likely to be stained for life.Last negative. Little rubber seal on the valve that allows for tiny sips. I do feel the need to take it off every now and again to clean but it feels very gentle like it could tear at any second. That aside i've had quite a few scares when I thought i lost it or it fell down the drain. I've already conducted my share of search parties on all fours looking for a little rubber washer that fell in the dirt. Without this washer this can is useless. All in all. Love this can. It might not be pretty but goes anywhere and its rock solid. Dropped many times on different surfaces but it never opened.
