Quran in English: Clear and Easy to Understand. Modern English Translation. Paperback – August 17, 2014

This is the best English Quran I have ever read. The author showed a mastery of both Arabic and English. While writing this translation, he avoided pedanticism. He used a simple style that allows readers to grasp the meaning of the Quranic verses as if they were reading the original Arabic Quran. Anyone, irrespective of his English language mastery, who wants to learn about the content of the most well-preserved sacred book, this translation is the best.

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and I loved reading this book. Though I may disagree with several specific teachings in this book, the overall message was positive and inspiring. It is no wonder so many people are attracted to Islam. Thank you for making this translation that is easy to understand for someone unfamiliar with Islam. I recommend that everyone read this. There are too many people who have a negative view of Islam because of the actions of a few evil people. There are a few evil people within every organization and we should not judge the whole group based on the actions of a few. This book helped reinforce that belief in me that followers of Islam are just normal people trying to live a good life. I believe everyone has the right to worship how, where, or what they may.

Good book if your wanting to read and learn

Easy to read yes, but the translation differs from other translations ( less accurate and losses its meanings. E.G Sura 87 Al-A’la)3-And then turns it into light debris3-And [then] makes it black stubble(traditional)4-We make you recite, so do not forget!4-We will make you recite, [O Muhammad], and you will not forget (traditional and more accurate in my opinion).

One should withhold opinions about any part of Islamic belief until the Quran has been personally examined from beginning to end. Obedience is enforced for all believers to all prophets by condoning coercive threats and actions, which include intimidation, shunning, beatings, and even murder. The real assertion is that Muhammed must never be challenged in his teaching, doctrines, or behaviors unless one is intending to self-destruct in their community.

This is free Kindle version for a reason, it's not a complete version of the original writing and the word Allah is replaced with the word god. There are also a lot of comments from the translator and there are a lot of claims that this translation is as accurate as possible from the original writing to English. If that's the case, then why is so much information missing? Why so many verses missing? Why doesn't the translator admit this up front? At least one verse remained involving Jesus. While the Qur'an admits that Jesus is the son of Mary, it says it's blasphemous for believes in the Qur'an to acknowledge that Jesus is the true Son of God the Father. If you're a Christian, this information is enough to prove the god of Islam is not part of the Holy Trinity and that it is impossible that the largest religions of the world are all praying to the same god. If you're Muslim / Islamic and wanting to learn all you can about right from wrong and you believe in peace, honesty, and being righteous, that murder is wrong, then why remove large sections of the Qur'an that speak against God the Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. Why would a true god be afraid to speak the entire truth? I've also read that it's death to translate the Qur'an to English and the translator of this version died long ago so he can't be put to death again but he will be judged on judgment day. If Islam is the one true religion then why is it against Islamic law to translate the Qur'an to any other language? Why does this version of the Qur'an instruct believers to behead Christian's, Jews, and Atheists alike? I read somewhere else that people that refuse to accept the truth will believe in anything. It's also interesting to me that the Qur'an was written around 600 AD. Did the world calendar change 1400 years ago because of this writing? No. Did the world calendar change 2014 years ago because the Son of Man? Yes! Deception is not truth and everyone that's ever lived is required to make a choice. All those that refuse to repent and accept the truth (Our Savior) or believe that not making a choice is also an option will spend eternity in the Lake of Fire. Before it's too late, repent, become baptized in the Holy Spirit for the remission of sins, and become born again by giving your heart, soul, mind, and body to the one true God our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. For no one gets to the Father except through the Son. If you're curious, 59% of the Bible is prophecy and has proven over and over again to be the one true source of the truth. Don't delay, save yourself today! If you want to know how it all turns out read Revelations. It is written that God tells us the end from the beginning so that we know He is the one and only true God. Join me in Heaven with my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. His blood is our Salvation. I beg you not to wait much longer for time is running out and there is no second chance.

So I just started looking into my religion seriously. I am a born Muslim Alhamdulillah. This book is a wonderful resource and I can’t thank the author enough. Although there is a pdf version online for free, I am still glad I got the book because there is really nothing like getting knowledge from a physical book. Very thankful for the insight this book is providing and the knowledge as well.
