Does this have loops on the back so it can be worn on a belt?

It's not directly set up to wear it on a belt. There is some webbing on the back which would make it easy to 'mount' it to a pack or some other MOLLE / PALS platform, but not belt loops. I suppose you could just pass a belt thru a set of loops and hang it 'sideways'. However it would be REALLY awkward to access the contents like that. The size says 6X8 main compartment and 5X7 overall right next to each other, which don't make no sense. Actual size please?

5×7 and it's pretty thin. I ended up going to the fatty for more room. Both fit in B.D.U leg pocket and both are built tough so depending on what you carry either will work.
