Samsung 4GB DDR3 Memory SO-DIMM 204pin PC3L-12800S 1600MHz M471B5273CH0-YK0

I have two ram slots in an old HpTouchsmart. Each slot had 1 GB ram stick for a total of 2 GB. I took one stick of Ram out and installed this 4 GB stick in its place (keeping the second stick in that was already there.) The computer did not recognize the new ram stick. It went down to 1 GB. I figured out that if the ram sticks are of different brands, the computer will only recognize one of the sticks. So I removed both of the old sticks and inserted only this Samsung new one in one slot. Suddenly, I have the 4 GB and the computer is amazingly faster. It can tolerate multiple youtube videos going at once. If I buy a second stick I can increase it to 8 GB but probably wont since I have other newer computers with plenty of Ram already. It was just nice to give this old one an upgrade refreshing it's capabilities to how it was when it was new. (Windows 10 slowed it down until I upgraded it with this one 4 GB stick).

It was really easy to install this memory stick in my Lenovo all-in-one computer. It has worked just fine for several years now, and it doubled the amount of RAM on my computer. If only all transactions would work out so well!

I installed it into my HP Elite Book 755 all by myself (with no formal computer knowledge under my belt). However I must say my boyfriend did a excellent job of telling me what to buy, and where to place it. After that I took it from there.If you know for a fact this is the right ram, and the general area where to put it was pretty easy to work.after some use my boyfriend tested it to make sure it "really" works, by having me have a lot of web pages open watch Netflix on like 4 different browsers to test performance, and it seemed to check out okay.

Purchased 2 sticks for an older ASUS ROG Gaming laptop and couldn't be more happy with my purchase. With how little potential there is to upgrade a laptop, you can't go wrong with a couple extra sticks of ram considering how easy they are to install. If you're trying to get more ram but don't want to get a nice full kit and break the bank, this is the way too go!

I installed this on my gf's old Windows 8 era laptop because she refuses to buy a new one. It originally came with 4GB with 3.2GB usable, so just imagine how low that is for modern computing. Adding another 4GB made her laptop much faster and able to keep up with modern apps and tabbed browsing. Now she has stopped complaining that her laptop is so slow and freezes. Cheap fix, after trying everything else that didnt work. For modern computing, you will need at least 8GB now. Too bad most modern laptops dont have the ability to upgrade components anymore.

Sometimes it's hard to know if the electronic upgrade you purchased is making a difference. But where this really shined is the lightning fast boot speed of my machine. I am up and running in no time.I am also very pleased with the packaging and information included with the product. I received a card that promised my satisfaction from "A-tech Components" that included installation instructions, and issue troubleshooting (I had no issues whatsoever).I am very pleased with my purchase, from price, to product and performance. I was asked to restore an old HP slimline desktop. I added this mem chip to help it function better than the 4GB it came with. This chip worked just fine. Stable with no issues.

Sorry to have to give such a low rating but situation requires it. The memory module I received may deserve higher although there is no way to know that because it is not the one I ordered. When it would not work in my laptop, I checked the packaging and the module itself closely. I needed and ordered low voltage memory (1.35V) and the packaging was labeled as a low voltage module. The module itself was NOT low voltage (1.5V). Everything else was correct, but close was not good enough in this case. I am very concerned when items are mislabeled as to trusting further products from same source. On plus side, Amazon took care of the charge without a fuss and I could not ask for any more support on their part.
