Sliding Glass Pet Door Medium

Q: I see some people mentioned needing extra weather stripping for drafts. Does this door let bugs in as well w/out extra weather stripping?

I had to install extra weather stripping. However, you may not need to. The stock fit is pretty good as long as the door is shut tight against the pet door. I used the extra weather stripping because I have 4 big dogs who use the thing constantly. The movement over the course of a day while we are at work allowed the stock fit to gap a little bit. The extra weather stripping helps with that. When the thing is shut tight I don't think a bug could get in.

Hello Joe, the Medium size of this door is about 11.5 inches wide, and the depth of the door is about 3/4".

Q: Is the large door small enough to keep a person (thief) out?

The large pet door is not big enough for an adult. Our dogs are small, at 15lbs. The large size pet door is the perfect size for them.

Q: I received my order and the weather stripping is about 2 inches short and i have a gap how do i get a replacement and how to install lock?

My door had a portable lock included and you may have to go get more weather stripping at the hardwear store.
