Great information packed in a small book!
This book has good information and is written with easy to read print. At first I was very disappointed in the small size of the book; however, it covers the basics and really has no need to be larger. I would recommend this book for anyone wanting to learn the basics of hair and color.

Racist
When discussing the different hair textures, this book uses racist language and old racist tropes about how much “easier” “European” hair is to color than “African” hair, and that there are somehow fundamental differences. The book also has a disclaimer in the beginning stating how the most recent publication hopes to be up to date and relevant, but takes no responsibility if the information within causes harm to anyone.I chucked it in the recycle bin.
