Relative to other rechargeable Lithium battery packs for other devices, this is very well priced; it otherwise may not have been purchased.It fits within the battery compartment, in this instance of the P-Touch P750W, and occupies only a proportion of the well which would otherwise take 6 AA alkaline cells. It arrives without any significant charge and recharges immediately upon insertion if and when the power pack is connected. Once fully charged, the power pack can be disconnected from the machine and the mains if desired. Quite how long a working life the battery will allow in terms of hours of usage per charge will largely depend upon the level of use the machine gets; it could well be weeks or months if not often used.There are no instructions with the battery pack about charge times etc but that information exists within the printer's downloadable manual. The provided documentation is a large multilingual safety guide poster and a smaller EU compliance document.

I was supplied with original branded product. It's perfect for me as I don't print more than a few labels a day - I recharge the battery every 2-3 weeks. This item is essential if you want portability within range of your WiFi.

The cost of the batteries is ridiculous (£30) but in the end, I needed the convenience of being able to use my brother label printer untethered and also the ability to charge without having to remove 6 rechargeable AA batteries which you can purchase and do instead as a cheaper alternative.If you can tolerate the cost then this battery is fine for the role.
