Thorns Not Just For Paul
Thorns affect my life too. I have struggled to deal with my thorns. Prayed for them to be removed, I can't remember the count. Many of the chapter headings sounded like they were written just for me, others not so much. Yet, I read each chapter and everyone revealed something about my thorns. I am convinced I have more than one thorn in the flesh. The book was a real eye opener for me. It helped me to see my thorns as God"s good purpose for me. God's thorns keep me seeking His help, His power and strength to endure and persevere.Giving a review is not easy for me. If some of the chapters speak to you then read the whole book. It is well worth your time. You too will see your thorn or thorns in a brand new light. God's light!

R.T. Kendall has written a VERY HELPFUL BOOK!
Di you know, that if you continue reading in 2 Corinthians 12 - it says: 8 Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me 9 But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness..." If you do a little research w/ different versions / commentaries ... this means that Christ will dwell over you like a tent.R.T Kendall does a good as good a job as the author that explained this tent!

separated from my son husband and grandkids
I have been gone from my home for over 2 months. I have written tens of journal entries ending with God please help us because of the judgement and condemnation of my son. After reading this book I am contemplating is God trying to refine me with impossible circumstances? Is there an alternative that I haven't though of? This book opened my mind to the possibility of a wiser potter still working on me through a thorn in my flesh.

Thorn in the flesh
This book was very thought provoking. It went against my theology and challenged me to be open to what the spirit of the Lord used the writer to say. I now I understand that if God does not give me what I want it is because He knows me and if he does it would pull me away from him. This was not easy to accept but it is the truth. Sometimes I am annoyed at people that irritate me however God is looking for fruit and for me to be totally dependant upon him to take me through. This book helped me understand that I must trust God with all my heart because he is God alone. Thank you RT Kendal, once again you hit it out of the park.
