excellent indoor growth in a sunny window
I am impressed with these bok choi seeds. I grew them both hydroponically and also in planters with added fertilizer. I grew them this past winter in south facing windows of my house. In total, I planted about a dozen shoe box sized planters, and I had so much bok choi I could not eat it all and gave a lot to friends and family. The growth rate and taste are really impressive. I used the bok choi raw on sandwiches, and also for cooking in Asian dishes. If you let it flower, it does get a stronger flavor. The winter sunlight and 65-degree temps in my house suited it perfectly. I think it would grow fine inside my house in the summer also (cooler than outside). Need to plant some more. Highly recommended.

-1 star bc of bad advertising
Only 4 stars bc these are baby Bok Choi, not what’s shown in the advertisement and the amount of seeds was about 300, not 1000. they grew fast hear in southwest Florida and more than half bolted at the end of February when we got a warm spell of a week of 80 degree days. I let a 2 plants fully flower and harvested a few hundred seeds. The plants left to go to seed got hit by aphids a couple times, I just washed them off with hose on a pressure setting.

Not very good results
The germination rate was good, but all plants produced several leaves and a lot of flowers. I did not buy it for flowers.

They didn't grow
I don't understand why I have never gotten any seeds from Amazon that have grown. I'm forever the optimist but no longer. Planted them and nothing happened. You'd think I would learn my lesson about buying seeds from Amazon! I have never gotten any seeds to grow and I follow planting/sprouting instructions to the letter. I've spent over $1000 on various seeds from different people on here and NONE of them have EVER grown!!! Don't bother to get these, they won't grow!
