A cheaper alternative
Once they've loosened up in the purdy long handled roller and they are rolling with ease they are fine. I find them stiff when first using. The quality of the pile is fine.

Short pile 9" roller
Short pile roller used with satin finish paint (two coats) - second coat ended up more a leatherette finish which was fine for the external site where it was applied.

Great finish, Amazon QA needs improving
Great finish, only 4 stars due to the fact that we had received a roller that had already been used as had grey paint on it when we came to rinse the roller after painting, product had been cleaned sent back resealed and had fragments of grey paint. Have ordered another roller as I love the smooth finish but will be checking it hasn’t been used.

Does the job, great on plastered walls and keeps good when cleaned for the next use

Overall it does the job ok
It gets the job done well. The roller sleeve holds a lot of paint and rolls smoothly within the Purdy adjustable roller frame. However, it unfortunately sheds quite a bit of lint (even though I thoroughly cleaned it with water before the first use). Overall, it works fine if you’re careful and promptly remove any lint it leaves behind while painting.
