The crowning jewel of your surprisingly affordable Home Theater
The projector does everything you'd expect it to do, and so much more. At first, I was worried about it, because I'd never heard of the CRE brand before, but this projector is a perfect example of solid, but nameless engineering. This surprisingly versatile projector can throw a 2K image if you like, which makes handling 1080p content a piece of cake. The remote is small and stylish, and feels really great in the hand. Not a lot of buttons, which is PERFECT, because, after all, it IS a projector, that somehow manages to run Android, and runs it VERY WELL. This thing has a WiFi adapter built in, so you can connect it to your wireless home network. It ALSO has Bluetooth, if you're into that sort of thing. The projector also has two HDMI 2.0 inputs, an optical output, ethernet input, and a 3.5mm audio output. You might be wondering how I used it. Well, I used it to craft a crowd-pleaser of a living room. The screen size I settled on is 132 inches across, and the projector is connected to a 5.1 surround sound system. Connected to it are a Chromecast, and an Xbox One S. This thing handles 60Hz frame rates very smoothly. The screen is as imposing as it is beautiful. I seriously cannot recommend this projector enough.Final thoughts: once you get a projector, all TVs, no matter how good, just seem utterly inadequate. Seriously, as long as you can control your living room's lighting, THIS projector is the way to go. It's a marvelous feat of engineering.

Decent 4K display
My first observations:- There's really lag when playing 4K MKV files. Tried using NVIDIA Shield TV, worked after a while. I was thinking my HDMI cable was at fault, but after restarting several times, the lagging cleared when playing videos via an external device.- They added two papers along with the package. It's a walkthrough of the function. Going through the FireTV app will lead you the English apps, which then made configuration easier.- 2.4 GHZ Wifi connection is the one really working. Streaming via the apps installed is painful, too much lagging.- Always prompting that I entered an incorrect password when logging in to my Gmail account to update the apps via play store.- Blacks aren't that great. Brightness should be set to 80-85 to enjoy and details. But dark screens aren't great, which what I have been looking for.- Nice audio for it's size.- The support provided by Frank of Kaya Projectors is great. Very personalized.

You get what you pay for...
So, I probably wouldn't buy this again. For the price, it's a great deal. but, truthfully, I could have hooked a cheap not-smart projector to a computer and gotten a better experience. Next time I'll pay a couple hundred more and get a "real" projector. The good:Love the screen, the intensity, and the resolution. I'm projecting on an 8 foot screen from about 10'.hooked in an amazon firestick and it works beautifully. It's got a 4 corner keystone adjustment so you can be at a strange angle to the screen and adjust it perfectly square on the screen. Probably the best I've ever seen. The US distributor for this is great. He helped a lot getting it setup. The manufacturer responded with "who did you buy this from?" and never answered any questions about it.The not so good...Audio output works. There is little/no control in the system settings. No audio effects, no equalizer. Requires an external speaker. As long as I'm on that, system settings are very, very, very rudimentary. If you like what you got, then it's great. If not, you are out of luck. It's an android system. Amazon won't play through the google browser.Kodi is installed by default. Works ok. The sound sync is absolutely terrible, both on the bluetooth and on the direct wire. I never was able toWireless really sucks. It times out a lot. Not very fast. I've got a high speed wireless, watch on HD or SD, not 4K, and it still times out a bunch. I can run my computer right next to it at the same time and the computer doesn't hiccup. This does...So, a quick summary. If you're going to plug it in and just run it, this will work for you.If you like to tweak things, definitely get something else.
