Not really 'universal'.
Delivery was fine and product was easy to use. However this 'universal' seal was not really suitable for my (Smeg) oven and I didn't come across any warnings that it might not work. The seal seems to be about twice as thick as it should be for our particular oven door. As a result of this, the oven door fails to close tightly and heat escapes from the approx 0.5 cm gap across the top. In short, the seal doesn't achieve its designated purpose (for this specific model) and so should not properly be described as 'universal'. Looks as if I shall have to pay more for the official Smeg seal.
