This soil is great for any bonsai enthusiast. There is minimal dust on it however, some will need to be washed off as with any soil. The water retention isn’t super great however What you are getting without being in the organic field. The size of granules is perfect for bonsai and Growth by providing more oxygen to the roots. Performance wise, it has done great for me so far has given me A lot of value For the money.

Great bonsai planting material! The mixture felt like it wasn't holding quite enough water so I ended up mixing it with a little high grade (no miracle grow or "moisture management") soil and that helped fill in the water retention. My plants and bonsai's are doing great!

This week I repotted most of my Desert Roses. This one at least moved to bigger pot and look at this caudex it loves this soil. I watch Jerome on you tube great tip. Sorry I never got to his store in Fl. I have a question on white patches on this plant. White lime stone paste is a plant saver.

Best soil I have ever used. I have a lot of indoor & outdoor plants, some bonsai.My Shimpaku Junipers that love this soil. I have never met a plant I did not like.Even my Venus Fly Trap seems to enjoy it. Growth happens,leaves are darker, roots seem stronger.Use this information if you think it would benefit you. I was skeptical at first as I usually make my own bonsai soil and wanted to see how mine stacked up, not that I’m going into the realm of soil selling. Science is all about experimenting so I purchased a bag and got to it…I repotted a large ficus benjamina using this substrate. It is very balanced and settles really well, allowing me to water “how I like” along with the unpredictable weather faced here in South Florida.While I do prefer my substrate, only due to the color, I wouldn’t hesitate to use or recommend this product!🤙
