My 10 year old absolutely loved this. I got it because he’s been into mechanical engineering, and has been building things out of cardboard lol. He was able to assemble this and only struggled with the speaker wiring a little. With my assistant we got through that part. He had so much fun doing this project. Powering it on was a priceless experience. Seeing the excitement on his face when he discovered it worked! Worth every cent, the radio sounds crystal clear and the Bluetooth speaker works well, not as clear sounding as the radio. It comes with everything you need!

Fun for kids to do themselves! We painted the pieces first, let them dry, and then put them together. It was fun to see the kids use the radio and speaker! They were really proud.Our speaker wires were a bit hard to connect, but I was able to help and they finished it themselves.

The media could not be loaded. The directions were not so easy for my 8 yr old to follow, but with my guidance it was fun and simple. He was so proud of himself and the speaker is BLUETOOTH!!! & LOUD!!! I loved everything about this. I enjoyed the fact that it wasn't just screws, there's also wires involves that the child has to connect and weave, making sure to connect to the correct color. Make more of these please!? I'd give it more stars if I could.

The radio was pretty easy to put together. My son enjoyed it. It is tiny and not visually impressive, but the sound quality is quite good, much better than expected. The speaker is less good - harder to construct and not as good a sound. I especially like that my son has started listening to local radio stations instead of streaming everything. Radio gets five stars.

My son loved building the radio and the Bluetooth speaker. He is 6 so it did take some guidance and help from me, but he was able to do a good bit of it himself. He was very proud of the finished product. It’s cheap parts, so don’t expect a Sony boombox at the end, but it’s a fun and educational project for kids!

I gave my sone this for Christmas. Being great with his hands he built it in no time. But he noticed that when he'd use the radio there was a spark between the two speakers. This is really thin wood, and with a spark from the electrical current could end up a really big problem. My husband said we would have to wrap the wires in electrical tape to be safe. Buyer Beware. If they could make it safer, it is an awesome building kit.
