I keep these in portable case conditioning kits. I've used these for over two and half decades and they work well. They used to be the only type I used even when I had lathe trimmers. I really like Lyman's copy of these which are an excellent design, but not as compact and lightweight as the Lee. These are great at the bench or in your kit and when the cutter gets full you can sharpen it or throw it away and buy another at the price point.

Highly recommended. Nice basic kit that will rival any of the high dollar alternatives. Make sure your case gauge is screwed all the way up against the cutter, you will not be able to do it by hand, use a pair of pliers. If you are going to use a drill, and hold the cutter with your hand, wear gloves, drill low speed and make sure the case is seated all the way in the holder.I am not sure if Lee designed the chamfer tool like this on purpose but it works great to de-burr the outside of the case as well. The inside of the chamfer tool is hollow, you can put the mouth of the casing in there and give it a few twists. My 3030 will not feed freshly cut rounds unless I do this.

Seriously this is a must have for every reloader on a budget. You get a whole case prep kit plus a case cutter for 15 bucks. You can't beat it!

Plus it comes with everything and will work. The problems are they are not very good compared to other tools. You will end up replacing almost everything in this kit fairly soon.

Have other lee stuff. It's all great. This trimmer is not any different. Fast and easy.
