Variable focus is essential if you wear glasses
I bought this loupe after trying a slightly cheaper one. The cheaper one was also rechargeable and included ultra-violet illumination (but I have no use for this feature) however, it had a fixed focus. As I wear glasses I found it impossible to get a clear view through this cheaper product.So, I coughed up an extra £10 to buy this model.It is night and day better. Using the nicely damped variable focus ring I can get a perfectly clear view. The optics are also less distorted at the extreme edges than the cheaper fixed-focus model.There is some prallax error when trying to measure something greater than, say 0.5 inch (12.7mm) but this doesn't worry me as I am using it to measure holes and tracks on printed circuit boards. The 10 x magnification is perfect for this task.I do not know how long the internal battery will last as I just keep it topped up on a USB C charger. There are 6 bright white LEDs which provide an even illumination.It comes with one plastic lens cap (for the objective i.e. top lens) but not one for the bottom where the reticule is located. As I'm a bit cornerned about scratching the reticule I've found a plastic lens cover for it. It's about 47mm diameter.There are no instructions of note other than a list of additional reticules, but I do not know where these can be purchased, China, somewhere, I guess.It is supplied with a short USB A to USB C charger cable but no charger. The included carry case is robust and of good quality.All in all I am very pleased with my purchase - it performs well and is exactly what I wanted.

Great product, good magnification and nice clear scale.
Lights are nice and bright and it's a bonus that it's rechargeable so I don't have to worry about batteries.One tiny gripe, I thought the scale might have been removable, but whilst you can unscrew the black ring around it's base, I can't figure out how or if the scale actually detaches.
