Solved our long hair cats massive tangle problem fast.
Works great on my cat's thick slippery hair. Its not that loud, even on the faster setting and easy to clear hair out.My long hair cat has tangles on his hips due to length and density and this is the 3rd set of clippers we have tried. They are expensive compared to the other brands but worth it.My cat was so happy today strutting around instead of obvious discomfort. It took us two sessions to get it right but he is much happier and so are we. He was very playful after he got over the discomfort of this new process in his life and after a good game of chase the string he plopped down next to me as we watched a movie. He usually avoids touching his sides to things because that is where the thing tangles are.I will stick to Wahl brand in the future, they are the clippers I use for myself and now for my cats.

Does the job
Cuts perfectly now only if that dang puppy would stay still.

Terrible
This is a case of no human support to get the right product and it results in BACK TO BACK RETURNS!!The first return was because it wasn't the correct unit for thick coats. The second purchase was for considerably more money. It arrived today with NO BLADE GUARDS!!I have to spend another $30: to be able to USE these!I want this ESCALATED I now have over $220 tied up until I can get refunded.

These are great, but may take some practice
These are for a lot of hair and cutting it quickly, but it's good to note it's not really for precision cutting. For background, I have one of the "overrated" doodles (I just call him the greatest dog, ever, but whatever). He's a mini, so he's 13lbs and HATES every single aspect of grooming. I cannot take him to the groomers anymore as the stress and terrible cuts he gets is just more than either of us can handle. After a few years of using different clippers, I got this "professional" buzzer in the grand hopes our grooming sessions would be better. To be clear, these work great. I got the clip-on attachments (you def need these!) and everything worked as expected and did well. They cut through his thick curly hair incredibly well, so on that point, amazing! Very happy. However, the issues I had are these: 1) they did not do great on small intricate cutting. Maybe it's the cord, maybe it's that they're big and he's small, maybe it's that I'm not a pro, who knows? But if you need to clean up intimate areas, paws, and face, it becomes very difficult. 2) the blade got so hot, when I removed the attachment, I touched the metal and burned my hand. This scared me a bit because I know these things get hot, but I didn't expect to yelp when I touched it. If I hadn't, I might have used them on him without realizing it and could have hurt him.Because of his hatred of grooming, I set a timer for 10 mins and get as much done as possible, then we do it again a few days later. Yes, he looks like a little weirdo for a bit, but he doesn't care how he looks and I just want him to be happy, so 🤷♀️. This breaks up the sessions and there is less crying from both of us. So imagine my surprise at how hot it had gotten only halfway through our session. I cant say it was exactly 5 mins in, but the 10 min timer didn't go off for a good bit when I had to stop to let it cool down. That's with a good bit of stopping between cuts. The cord is obviously a pain, if you can afford the wireless ones, definitely go for those. They just aren't in my own budget.I've now had to buy a smaller, cheaper buzzer because I can't use these to clean up his man parts (or what remains, thereof). But that is still cheaper than the wireless version. So, not the end of the world, I guess?I also found removing and replacing the metal head of the buzzer a little difficult. I tried to follow the instructions, but the metal...shaft? that the blade slides onto didn't pop up for me like the picture showed. Maybe I have to be rougher with it, I don't know. I'll try again soon and see how it goes. They're not super loud, but that isn't an issue for us, because even quiet ones upset him, so it just doesn't matter at this point. They're probably quieter than the cheap stuff you get, but as that's not our issue, I can't speak too much to that.At the end of the day, they cut through his winter coat better and did go faster than other clippers I've used. They work great on his thick curly hair and I'm content to have them, even if I need more practice. They do seem to be made with doodles in mind. But if you go this route you may want another buzzer for smaller body parts if you have a small dog/cat/animal/creature.

Good clippers
These worked just how I thought they would. I have a schnoodle and they worked well on him.

It’s a gentle giant
Works so much better than the cheaper ones we have purchased in the past. Just finished grooming our miniature poodle and it was actually easy and almost fun. It just seems like it stays at the same power level no matter how thick the fur becomes. And the long cord is awesome

Dog clippers
They work good but I don’t like the on and off switch or the cord. It’s real stiff and the plug is huge. The on and off switch seems cheap
