HasegawaHAPT13 1:48 Scale F-86F-30 Sabre USAF Model Kit

Finding a decent 1:48 Sabre was a bit of a mission. I'd bought the venerable and flash-afflicted Monogram/Revell kit dating from 1976, which really ought to be taken outside and shot. I also have the Academy kit in my stash somewhere and cursory glances show there to be a good deal of similarities between that and this Hasegawa kit.It's clearly not state of the art, but the build process is typical Hasegawa - everything fits together perfectly and it's relatively simple to produce a good looking model, even with basic skills. I thoroughly enjoyed building this, I'd do so again were it not for the strict limit I've been given on models in the house by she who must be consulted first.Criticisms are barely worth mentioning. The pilot figure is clearly wearing a 1990s era flight suit and helmet, plus the yellow fuselage and wing band decals can be a little fragile and difficult to align. The shade of yellow is very subdued too.To conclude, I can't really fault it and I'm very pleased that the seller managed to get the model delivered on time with absolutely no fuss.

I have not yet built this kit therefore this review is somewhat limited. The kit upon inspection looks very good, plenty detail on fuselage and wings.I received the kit when the suppliers had stated. It was well packaged and undamaged when I received it.If there is options of delivery, fine, if not then patience is required.
