I've always had thin hair, then chemo and immunotherapy and thyroid malfunction from all the treatments, all of which compromised my hair for over 2 years. Alot didn't grow back. This is not hair replacement; it does cut down the view of the larger areas that my hair is so sparse. Also protects my scalp in the sun... I previously bought another product that came in a shaker container, this product is less expensive, and the bag last me almost a year and I put it in the shaker container.

So what's a sassy girl to do?This product in soft black matched my colored soft black hair. They kindly give you extra in your shipment on occasion. The amount is very reasonable and ships fast!You will need to find your way to applying it correctly. With darker colors it can be messy at times. It does get on your face shoulder floor and counters if you don't cover. The fibers are fine. When you do "the shake" it will drift all over.I have a method and way that works for me now. Easy cleanup, less product wasted and less clumps on my scalp.I do spray my hair with hair spray after its applied ----it WILL last 2 days. Doesn't come off on my pillow until I shower. You can't brush it after you apply it as it will come off on the brush. I find it's easier to completely style and part my hair first. Then cover shoulders face moving away from my white sink and shake the areas I want to fill. Wait a bit. Spray. Sweep my floor lol and I'm on my way.I'm so so happy I found this product. My doctors are having me try a few medicine to fill in the areas but it takes months to fill an area. This is perfect for me.The color is a great match.I'm sure lighter colors are less messy but the fibers will still stick all over. You just won't notice it as much as a dark color.The price is right and it's worth a try. Don't give up after your first shake. Practice makes perfect! Good luck

I bought several colors to blend a perfect match to my hair and feel much more confident about my thinning hair when my scalp isn't noticed through my hair style. I don't know about the fibers sticking to my hair--I suppose some do--but my goal is to make my scalp unnoticeable, and dusting this product on achieves that goal well. I use the atomizer for the front part since I don't want the fibers getting in my face when I dust them on with the shaker I have. That isn't a problem at the crown, but at the hairline I have to hold to head back to avoid that, then can't see what I'm doing. The atomizer helps a lot.These packets hold a full cup of fibers. That's a lot so I transfer the contents to Lock & Lock rounds where they won't spill and are better protected than in the plastic bags they arrive in. I was irked that when opening the shipping envelope I cut two bags by mistake and fiber spilled. The envelopes really should be packed in a box for shipping. Once the plastic bags were compromised, the contents had to be transferred and I found the Lock & Lock contains were ideal. I can use a measuring spoon to take out what I need to make a new mix, and actually keep two since one section of my hair shows more gray and needs a different shade.The dark blond is a good neutral color for ash blond and light brown shades. The light blond is more yellow.Be aware that if you order multiple colors, you will be charged shipping on each one even though they are shipped together. The fibers are great; the shipping is not.

I use this occasionally to cover a bald spot and thinning hair on crown of my head. Just style your hair and spray it in place. Then shake the hair fibers over the thinning areas until covered and lightly pat your hair to settle the fibers. Bold spot is covered. Will wash out very easily. Combing or brushing after application will displace the fibers and reveal thins spots again so once you are done leave it alone. Been using for years and works well for me. The color is not perfect but it blends in once applied. This is very inexpensive for these hair fibers and you get an bag that contains much more than the name brands.

I purchased Hair Building Fibers - Auburn 50 Gram Refill, Finally Hair Hair Fiber Applicator Bottle For Refills and Hair Fiber Sprayer Atomizer for One Handed Operation. (I had to use two hands. It was impossible for me to make a straight line AND squeeze the rubber air blower ball)I have never used this type of product before, but after reading the reviews I thought that it was worth a try.I didn't like the way that my hair looked when I applied the Hair Building Fibers.It was dull and it looked like I had dry dusty hair.I have seen people over the years who had hair that looked odd~like it was made of strange fibers and dust. I really just thought that their hair was like that.Once I finished applying Finally Hair Hair Building Fibers to my hair I realized that 'This' is what was the fibrous dusty dull hair that I had seen on peoples head.It works for many people, but this product is not for me. The return cost and restocking fee are disappointing.

I've been using Toppik hair fibers for years. I saw this product - "Refill You Existing Fiber Bottle" and decided to give it a try. I'm more than happy with this refill pack. It works exactly the same as buying a new Toppik bottle, and is not as expensive. Just twist off the top of the Toppik bottle and scoop in the new hair fibers.
